So, It's 4:11 AM and I have to wake up in four and a half hours to work a 12 hour fucking day. Why am I not asleep? Your guess is as good as mine. Eh, if you need help tomorrow and call your cell phone company, and it's the one I work for, I hope you don't get me. I'll be cranky. Work lasted forever today, and if I have to troubleshoot a phone with a customer who has a lower IQ than my dog I may fucking burn some shit down.
Challenge Time! With your own brain, pretend you are a powerful casting director and cast a live action Cowboy Bebop Movie for me. Jordan and I have been discussing this literally for years and it's always a rousing discussion and interesting to see opinons. I don't care about rumors or any of that shit. Think about how YOU would cast it if you could pick and FIAT them all into saying "yes." Discuss!
I had a dream that I was being held captive in my house by a wasp. Just one. Everytime I would approach a door to leave, he would land on me. I'm not really scared of stinging insects, so I don't know where this freaky dream came from. It's been on my mind a lot of the day though.
Alright, I can't very well disown my personal superhero or TC. I kind of have a soft spot for you guys. You should watch Heathers though, it's the best high school set movie ever.
I didn't overtime today. I woke up, thought about it for 10 minutes and went back to bed. Choosing between paying my house pmnt or saving my soul... -__-
I'm ridiculously lazy, but talking to Laura has me kind of motivated to do something of an exercise nature.
My younger brother has decided to go to Seminary in the fall. He's just not holy enough, I guess. He shall be a Priestly Monk, I guess. He ruins my life in the fact that he's better. It's cool though. As far as disappointing kids go, my parents got off light with me.
And tomorrow (the 22nd) is Connor-man's birthday. hip hip hooray. He's my nephew, he will be 12.
If you didn't know my title was from the movie "Heathers" I may disown you. I may not, it's undecided.
Work has been so ridiculously busy for the last 2 weeks, and after the Father's Day promo, I'm ready to walk the plank. I worked two and a half extra hours today, and I will do a couple more tomorrow. So, in the goal of working an entire week is on a good start. How lame am I that I have to set a GOAL to work and entire week and not call in sick. I'm not sick. I'm rarely sick. I just hate my job. But I'm focusing on the negative...
I watched When They Cry this weekend. Hulu only has the dub, which kind of annoyed me. The English voices were alright, but I just really hate "little girl" voices. I never fucking sounded like that as a kid, and neither did anyone I know. Anyway, it's crazy violent and lots of carnage. I could recommend it just for that. It can get confusing if you only pay a passing attention to it. It's the same story happening over and over again until the characters get it "right." Groundhog Day with murder by elementary school kids. It's fun.
I also started and got up to date on FMA:B in the span of two and a half days. I skipped work for that, and it was worth it. You cannot convince me otherwise. It's completely different and pretty badass. I still really love the first one. I haven't reconciled between the two yet. Don't judge me.
Alright, I guarantee that almost no one who reads this will care, BUT WHAT THE FUCK! Colorado and Nebraska leaving the big XII? We could have dumped the damn Texas teams, but CO and Nebraska? I remember in '96 when everyone thought the college sports world would come to an end adopting TX schools into the BIG 8. It's frustrating.
Alright, on to real life things. I applied for a different loan for my house, without a co-signer. I was miraculously approved, and I am pretty sure that I'm going to buy it, thus ensuring I cannot leave my loathed job ever, otherwise I wont be able to afford it. Welcome to the American Dream.
Otherwise, I've been catching up on TV on HULU. This season of Burn Notice has had a good start! and Justified may be about my favorite thing EVER. GLEE just wrapped up pretty well, and it's super fun to sing along to really loud.
My sister came and we watched Prince of Persia because I have an unholy love of Jake Gyllenhal. It was fun but nothing overly special. I had a hoot with my sister and at one point I leaned over and asked why we are always the only ones laughing. I'm so glad we grew out of the "I'm older, I'm dominate" phase. She may be older, but I can totally kick her ass in a fight, and she's almost as warped as me.
I had a lovely day and hung out with a couple of my friends. Being social is something that I'm starting to get used to again. I guess that is a good thing, but I'm too poor to do it a lot.
My dogs are lazy in the heat. I'm lazy all the time. it's starting to get summery and that makes me want to move to the tundra.
