~Mai~
I yelled, and felt myself fall, I leaned into Takumi. Oh well, at least I’ll die in his arms… I thought. But I didn’t hit the ground, I felt like I was floating in mid air. “T-Takumi?” I asked slowly. I heard him gasp.
“Mai? Mai why can’t I see you?!” He asked frantically. I opened my eyes and I couldn’t see my arms.
“I-I don’t know…” I answered.
“Well, appear again! You’re making me nervous!” He said. I blinked and I saw myself again. Wait… I looked down, and we were really high up. I looked over Takumi’s shoulders, and saw large black wings.
“TAKUMI!” I screamed as I buried my face into his chest.
“I’ve got you, you’re fine.” He said.
“Please, closer to the ground, I’m begging you.” My voice quivered. I felt us descend, and I was still nervous, but I didn’t tell him. We landed in the woods near his house, and he sat me down carefully. I was reluctant to let him go, and I saw Haru just float down with a very, well, stoned looking Aki clinging to his back. I touched my neck again. “Whatever they did to me, I don’t like it.” I said. I felt my hair move and I jumped. My hand was pushed away and I heard Takumi.
“I'm not going to hurt you i just what to see what's wrong.” He said I turned and faced him.
“No, don’t look.” I said trying to avoid his stare.
“It can’t be more shocking than mine.” He smiled. I looked at the wings, and I reached out and touched them. They were soft, like velvet. I nodded and turned back around. I pulled my hair aside, and Takumi gasped. I felt a cold hand touch my neck and I closed my eyes.
“They cut you…” He said quietly.
“Takumi, I’m scared.” I admitted
“I think everyone is Mai." He said softly.
"And you want to know the best part, about his wings Mai, you touch them right here and he tanks it." Haru touched a spot on his wing and Takumi immediately fell to the ground.
“Haru!” I punched him, and then quickly went over to Takumi. I took his arm and helped him up.
“Nice one Mai!” Aki laughed. I smiled at her. ‘Thanks’ I thought.
“You’re Welcome!” She grinned.
“What?” I looked at her.
“You said thanks, right?” She asked.
“Yeah, in my head.”
“But I just heard it.” It was quiet, but I saw Haru smirking.
“SHUT UP HARU!” She yelled and he flinched.
“He didn’t say anything Aki.” I said.
“No but he sure thought something mean.” She scowled. Then it hit me, we all got some kind of weird power.
