We went back to my house and it was dark in the house as usual. I walked in and turned on the light. I blinked a few times to get my eyes adjusted to the light then continued through the house to turn on lights.

“If you guys are hungry there’s food in the fridge just help yourself.” I told them and went upstairs to my room.

When I got into my room I took off my shirt carefully and my shirt seemed to slip right through my wings without even ripping. Hopefully I could do the same with the rest of my shirts. Looked at the back of my shirt and sighed. ‘Well this shirt is a gonner.’ I thought tossing it in my small trash can and it hung off the side. I walked into the bathroom which was right next door to my bed room and turned around and looked in the mirror as best as I could. From what I could see there was dried blood all over my back.

“Awesome.” I groaned and got a cloth down from the cupboard.

“Do you need help?” I turned around and saw Mai standing in the door way of the bathroom.

“Um… sure.” I answered putting the cloth under the foset and got it wet. “You sure you won’t faint on me Mai?” I stated handing her the wash cloth.

“I won’t, I promise.” She smiled at me taking the wash cloth from me. I spun my feet into the tub and sat on the edge of it.

I took a deep sharp breath in as the cold cloth touched my back.

“You alright?” She asked.

“It’s just cold.” I answered.

She seemed to be able to get the blood off easy enough but when she had to go between my wings I immediately flinched.

“I’m Sorry.” She said.

“No it’s alright.” I gripped the edge of the tub and my muscles tensed as she quickly washed off the blood that was left in between them.

“Okay I’m done.” She stated.

“Thank you.” I said. “If you want you can touch my wings.”

I felt a little bit of weight against my right wing.

“They’re really soft.” She responded.

“Thanks I guess.” I answered.

“I’m sorry was that weird?”

“No it’s fine. It’s actually interesting when you think about it. People always dream of flying on their own, I lifted my left wing up and had it bend over me. “They hurt too much earlier, to be able to even move them.” I explained touching one of my own feathers.

“How did it happen did they surgically place the wings in you?” She asked.

“No they mixed my DNA with a Ravens DNA and placed it in a pill, my bones hallowed out over the process of a couple of hours and the muscles in my wings had to intertwine with one another before I could even move them.” I explained.

“It sounds like it hurt.” She said.

“And I was conscious for my wings ripping out of my skin.” I stated.

I moved my right wing and I forgot she was kind of holding onto it because I made her stumble into my back.

“I’m sorry.” We said in unison.

“No it was my fault I forgot you were touching my wing.” I said before she could apologize.

“I’m going to make sure he’s okay.” Mai told us and started towards the stairs.

“She likes him, it’s so obvious.” I smiled grabbing an apple.

“And TK’s completely oblivious to it.” Haru laughed a little. He had a cute laugh.

‘So Aki you can hear my thoughts right?’ Haru thought.

“Well yea but I like talking you know out loud. It’s a wonderful thing you should try it sometime.” I stated taking a bite out of my apple.

“Haha, very funny.” He said.

“But, what happened to TK? How did he get wings?” I asked curious.

“When they took blood samples you know how he was taken off to somewhere else. Well apparently when they took his blood they also ran tests on him. Then they mixed his DNA with a Ravens DNA, and well you know the results.” He explained.

“That had to kill.” I muttered.
