~Takumi~
After I dropped Mai off at her house I took off again. It was kind of different from what I’ve always thought flying would be like. It takes a bit more effort but I guess it’s just because I’m new at it is why it feels like it’s taking a lot of effort to fly. I coasted over the woods and stopped at my house when I saw Haru and Aki walk out the front door.
“Hey guys, heading out?” I asked.
“Yea where did you go?” Haru asked.
“I took Mai home really quick.” I replied.
“Alright, we’ll see you at school on Monday then.” Aki waved and started walking down the drive way.
“Yep later you two.” I waved then walked into the house. “Well I don’t know if I’ll even make it back out of that place, actually.” I muttered to the big empty house that surrounded me.
It was always quiet in this house my parents hadn’t been back in a few months. I really wanted them to come back. But I gave them a call and talked to them for a bit told them that everything was fine and I missed them. Then I waited a while longer locked the front door behind me I knew that my window was unlocked so I could just get back into the house thorough my window, if I made it back tonight. I was about to take off when I just stopped and lowered my wings.
‘If I go and I don’t make it back, I’ll never be able to see everyone again.’ I thought looking up and the twilight sky ‘And so much has happened this weekend already.’ I spread my wings again and went up to my window and went back into the house.
