“Absolutely you just hit the nail right on the head there.” I laughed “No actually it’s nice to be able to spend time with you and not have Takumi randomly comment on things.” I smiled.
“Yea, some actual quiet is nice once in a while.” He agreed.
“But I guess Mai and Takumi kind of float in the same boat.” I commented.
“Really and why do you say that?” He asked.
“Well you and I have parents that are always there for us. Mai’s parents are dead, and Takumi’s parents are never home, so Takumi lives along and Mai’s Aunt is mentally unstable so technically she lives along too.” I replied.
“Yea, that’s true and even though I don’t think that Takumi notices it but he does tend to flirt with her.” We both laughed a little and then the waiter came up to take our order.
I ordered a Hawaiian Burger and I really didn’t pay that much attention to what Haru ordered.
“I thought you were going to order a salad or something.” Haru suggested.
“I eat lunch in front of you all the time I’m not one of those girls that try not to eat much when they’re on a date.” I stated.
“I know, I know.” He laughed.
“Good.” I said.
~Takumi~
“Ugh major headache.” I groaned placing a hand on my head.
I looked around and everything looked funny so I blinked a few times to see if I was just seeing things. I wasn’t seeing things, I wasn’t in my house any more. I was in a white room with a glass door again. I saw Mai lying on the bed opposite me. So I stood up and walked over to her.
“Mai, wake up.” I whispered shaking her lightly but she didn’t respond so I leaned over her and moved her hair away from her ear. “Mai if you don’t wake up “Mai if you don’t wake up, who knows what I’m going to do to you.” I said into her ear.
She didn’t move to that either. “Humm…usually she would jump right up once I say something like that.” I muttered.
I shook her again and she didn’t move. I sat there for a few minuets trying to think of a way to get her to wake up. Snapping my fingers to the idea that came into my head I placed my arms on both sides of her head and got really close to her face. “Mai, aren’t you going to wake up for me.” I smiled and was an inch away from her. “My I’m going to kiss you.” Her eyes snapped open and her face instantly went red. I sat back up and smiled down at her “Good you’re awake.”
