Uping the Bet

“Well that’s good.” I smiled at her. Then I started looking around.

“What’s wrong?” She asked.

“It’s weird usually right about now my door bell would be ringing obnoxiously then Haru would come barging in.” I looked at the clock on the stove “Are my clocks slow?”

“Maybe Aki and him are having a good time together.” She suggested.

“Or they confessed their feelings for each other in other words I win the bet.” I stated triumphantly and then Mai took a noodle and stuck it on my nose.

“You never know you could be wrong.” She replied.

“Do you want to up the bet, I know I’m right.” I smirked.

“Fine, if I’m right…” She started thinking.

“We’ll play seven minuets in heaven, if I’m right …” I was about to complete my sentence when Mai interrupted.

“Hey I never agreed to those terms!” She exclaimed.

“You were taking to long.” I answered.

“I was going to say if I win you kiss me.” She stated.

“Fine it’s a deal, and if I win you spend the night here with me, alone and I get to do whatever I want with you.” I smiled.

Her face got beat red. “Is it a deal, since you seemed so confident before, you should have no problems with it.” She replied and I smirked.
“Fine. Deal.” I stated walking around the table and then behind her. “You might want to start getting your stuff ready when you get home tonight, and get ready for and interesting night.” I whispered in her ear and then walked away from her leaving her in the kitchen. I went into the living room and grabbed my bag to take out some homework that I had yet to finish.
