“How about we play a game instead.” I suggested.
“Okay you’re it.” She laughed and disappeared.
“Should I even bother counting?” I yelled.
“Yes!” She shouted back.
I sighed and sat there counting there was no point in covering my eyes she was invisible. I counted to 20 then started searching the house. I laid there on my bed with me head hanging off the bed. Playing hide and seek with someone that can turn invisible is not that fun when you’re the one searching for them for like an hour.
“Mai…I give up, oly oly oxen free.” I shouted.
I didn’t hear anything. Then I felt something cold go down my shirt, I yelped and fell off my bed. The ice cube went spinning across the floor. “ow…my head.” I groaned flipping over onto my knees. “Are you mad because I didn’t give you your battery?” I asked and she reappeared in front of me.
“No.” She smiled and flipped open her phone. “I already got it back.” She disappeared and I quickly stood up and moved in front of my bed room door then reached out and my hand wrapped around something. She reappeared and it was her wrist. I yanked her in and wrapped my free arm around her waist.
“Mai, you know you should give me back the battery.” I whispered in her ear.
