“You can have your phone. I don’t want to take that from you.” I stated pulling it back out of my pocket and handing it to her.
She shook her head and pushed my hand away with the phone down. “It’s alright.”
“Then it’s going to be on the counter in the kitchen.” I told her and left my room. I went down to the kitchen and set her phone down on the counter like I said I would and right when I was walking away from it the phone went off. “Mai your phone is going off.” I called and she picked up her phone so I fell silent.
“Hello.” She said then her expression suddenly changed. “I’m at Takumi’s house helping him with his homework why, what’s wrong?”
I mouthed what’s wrong to her and she shook her head. “Alright I understand I’ll stay here for the night.” She paused again the other person saying something to her. “Okay bye.” She clicked the end button and it looked like she was going to cry. “My Aunt is in the hospital again.” She started sobbing and I went over and hugged her. She started crying into my chest and I held her tighter.
