I sat on my bed and effortlessly swung my feet back and forth in the air reading my homework that we had to do for English class. Occasionally my mind would wander and I would start to think about how Mai was doing with Takumi. I was actually hoping that she would text me so I could know how everything was going.
“I’m sure she’s fine.” I muttered to myself and went back to reading.
