“Don’t you dare take it to that level.” I snapped. “That lab is the cause of all of this.”
"Well his DNA was the only one that would accept the animal DNA. So in a way it was his own doing."
We heard the door open. "Hello is anyone home?" We heard Aki question.
"Oh it sounds like the other two are finally here." She smirked.
“AKI HARU RUN! GET OUT OF HERE NOW!” I screamed.
"I don't think so you're all coming with me whether you want to or not." She stated and then pulled something out and pulled a pin. smoke came bellowing out of the object. I started coughing, and so did Takumi.
“No, Takumi…get out of, here…”
"I wouldn't make it very far be got a hold of me again, so I'm staying with you." He answered.
“I-I can’t, feel anything…” My knees gave out, and I couldn’t catch myself.

I woke up and felt my hand being held. Takumi? I opened my eyes, and saw Aki sitting next to me, and Haru was holding her. I looked around.
“He isn’t here. We don’t know where they took him.” She said quietly.
“No…” I shut my eyes tight. “No, why?” I asked no one.
“Mai…” Haru said.
“What if they hurt him? Or threaten him? I can’t handle not knowing if he is ok or not…”
“Mai, come here.” Aki pulled on my hand and I collapsed into her. Haru’s arms wrapped around both of us, and I held onto Aki tightly.
“I’m glad you two are ok, and that they didn’t split you up.” I said.
“Not yet anyway. I have a feeling they will come in and do something.” Haru commented.
“This is so wrong, what right do they have to do this to us?” I asked.
“I don’t know.” Aki whispered. I heard the door open and some guy came in and walked over to us. He snatched Aki’s wrist and pulled sharply. She yelled and Haru punched the man. He seemed unaffected and punched Haru back. The man dragged Aki out of the room, and Haru almost got to the door before it slammed shut.
“AKI! NO, AKI!” He shouted. I laid on the floor and started shaking. I heard Haru come over, and he picked me up. I held onto him and he held me protectively. “I won’t let them take either of us without a fight, I promise.” I just nodded. “Plus Takumi would shoot me if I let anything happen to you.”
