-Takumi-
The people took me home and told me not to fly and then not to joke around then they left. I went up to my room and Mai was in there hugging my pillow.
"Please don't be mad." She said.
“I told you to go to Aki’s house.” I stated “Never mind just for get it.” I groaned slamming my bedroom door shut.
“Takumi? Are you ok?” Mai asked coming out of my room.
“I’m fine. Just go back to bed.” I answered and walked down the hall. I was sore and in a lot of pain and just went though another level of that stupid training thing and all I wanted to do was sleep.
I went down stairs and laid down on the couch. "I told her to go to Aki's and she didn't listen to me. Ahh." I muttered to myself pulling at my hair. "Maybe if I get some sleep I'll feel a bit better." I turned so my back was facing the rest of the living room and I closed my eyes then went to sleep. I woke up and looked around. By the look of the room it had to be early morning. Then I remembered what happened last night when I got home Mai came here instead of going to Aki's and I was mad at her. "I have to go apologize to her." I said and went to stand up but fell to the floor and grabbed my leg in pain. I could feel my pulse in my leg it was throbbing so bad. From the training I acquired some new bruises too along with a cut across my nose. I fumbled for my phone in my pocket and turned it on. It was dead and I tossed it across the floor then pushed my self up off the floor and made it into the kitchen to see if she was up or not. I found a not on the counter.
I know you’re angry with me. I don’t know. I left you there and I didn’t want to bother Aki. This is my second home, so I came here. But since you don’t really want me here, I’ll just go back home. –Mai
"No, Mai." I crumpled up the paper in my hand and threw it onto the ground. I stumbled to the door then got out side. I didn't care if I wasn't supposed to fly I spread my wings and took off. I just barley made it down the hill when I ended up doing a tumble roll into Mai's house door. "Ow..." I groaned trying to catch my breath. "Mai, please open the door." I said.
“T-Takumi.” She stuttered. “You’re hurt.” She opened the door completely and my feet fell onto the ground.
“It was my fault I tried to fly to get down the hill faster.” I answered.
“Why would you do that, you’re so bruised up, and you have cuts everywhere…”
“I wanted to apologize for last night, I went through another round of training that’s more like pain and no this morning I can’t even feel my leg and ugh it’s been a ruff couple of days.” I complained and some what apologized. Not moving from my spot.
“I know it’s been rough.” She said getting down on her knees and putting my left arm over her shoulder “Come on, inside. We don’t have any electricity at the moment so It’ll be dark, but I want to get you some of my crutches.”
She got me up and got me into the house. “Sorry that I’m so heavy.” I muttered as she set me down on the couch.
“It’s okay.” She said then went in the bathroom and got her crutches then brought them out to me.
“Come on lets go to my house so you can get cleaned up and sleep. You look like a mess.” I stated looking at her. She had a shocked expression on her face. “I told you my scenes were heightened because of the raven DNA I can see what you look like even in the dark.” I told her.
“Um, alright.” She said looking away from me.
“Next time when I seem mad don’t run away if you’re in the house just stay in one of the rooms.” I sighed and started towards the door.
“I’ll remember.” She said and we made it up the hill of a driveway I have to my house.
“Don’t ever take this hill on crutches.” I said flopping down on the grass. “GO ahead in I’m going to lay here for a while.”
“Okay.” she said and went inside.
I relaxed a bit and ended up falling back asleep in the wet grass.
I was in a dark room and I couldn't see anything even with my abilities heightened.
"Takumi." I heard and Mai's voice and looked around but couldn't find her.
"Mai, where are you?" I asked.
"What are you saying I'm right here." She giggled and I looked behind me but didn't see her.
"Mai please I don't want to play this game right now." I said.
"Oh but why not?" I felt something brush against me. "Don't look away." I felt something pierce me and I turned my head to see if it was Mai who did it. Instead of Mai it was me.
I took a sharp breath and sat up fast and clutched my chest.
“Takumi.” It sounded like Mai said it normally but she whispered it.
“I’m alright, it was just a dream.” I answered.
She nodded and wrapped her arms around her knees.
“Why don’t you go in and get some sleep. I’ll be fine, really.” All of a sudden the high frequency started up again and I my other hand flew to my head.
''Takumi! No, is it the noise again?'' Mai ran over to me.
‘You can’t…run away…form it….’ I heard a voice say that was static.
I could feel my heart beat through out my whole body. ‘I’m…closer…’
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!” I screamed and hit the ground.
"No, please don't leave me alone!" I felt her shake my shoulders.
‘Who are you?’
“I’m…”
The frequency faded and I was breathing heavily. “What’s…going on…ugh.” I muttered and pulled at my hair. “Mai…get in the house.” I ordered.
"Takumi, I’m scared, what’s wrong?” She cried.
“Just go in the house.” I said and then things seemed to fade to darkness.
"Damn what happened to my leg?" I laughed looking down at the wrapping. It stung a bit but it wasn't that hard to walk on it. “Hua…how did I end up out side last thing I remember I was in the house.” I muttered looking around. I lifted my wings and noticed the bandage on my wing. How did that get there?” I muttered trying to reach the bandage to take it off but I couldn’t get it. I stopped trying to get to bandage off and looked at the window where Mai was. "Can you help me Mai, I can't reach the bandage." I said.
"Takumi, why would you want to ta-" She stopped then ran into the house.
“Wait…Mai…” My hand fell and I sat back down on the grass. “What is her problem?” I mumbled to myself and laid down. “I didn’t do anything wrong.” I closed my eyes and tried to get some sleep for some reason I was really tired.
I woke up with a huge headache. I got up with help from the crutches and looked for the spare key but couldn't find it where i put it last and the door was locked. "Mai can you open the door please you took the spare key in with you." I said knocking on the door.
