-Takumi-
So my parents were gone again and Mai’s aunt decided to have a break down so she was sent back to the hospital. I was walking back from the hospital with Mai.
“I hope she’ll be alright.” She sighed and hung her head.
I brushed some of her green hair back behind her ear. “I’m sure she’ll be fine. She always comes back home.” I reassured her.
It made a small smile creep up on her pink lips. “Thank you Takumi.” She said.
“Why don’t you stay at my house until you get a call saying your aunt can come home.” I offered.
“That would be nice.” She looked at me with a small smile.
“You look so pretty with a smile.” I mentioned and a small blush spread across her cheeks making me laugh a bit. “I mean it Mai.”
“T-Thank you.” She stuttered as we turned into her drive way.
“I can wait out here if you want.” I said.
“No you can come in.” She waved after she unlocked the door for me to follow.
We walked in and I waited in the living room for her to get her things. It was a small house just big enough for two people to live comfortably in. It was neat and clean for the most part. She got her stuff pretty quickly and was ready to go. I took her hand after she locked to door and we walked up most of the driveway then I got bored and spontaneously picked her up and flew the rest of the way up to the house.
“Sorry I got bored of walking.” I smiled.
“It’s alright, just warn me next time.” She stated as I went to the door and unlocked it.
She went up stairs and I just dropped my bag and went into the living room. I just felt like relaxing. It was nice to actually be able to relax for once and not have to worry about the scientist coming to get us. Of course we did still have to worry but I had pretty much everything locked except the front door at the moment. I was sad that mom and dad had to leave again because it felt really quiet in the house and I felt a bit less secure when they weren’t home.
“There you are.” I looked up to Mai’s voice that was at the doorway of the room.
“I’m just relaxing. It’s been a long week.” I stated.
She walked over to me and sat down on the floor. “Really and just how has it been a hard week?” Mai asked.
“Well my parents left during the middle of the week which has left me home alone again so everyday I have to make sure that everywhere is locked in the house and then your aunt had to go to the hospital today, ugh. So anyways how was your day?” I asked sitting up.
“It was good.” What all she said.
“Really, I give you this big speech of how my week went and all you say is good?” I stated.
“Yep.” She smiled.
“You’re cute.” I laughed a little.
She blushed a little and I started feeling a bit dizzy. I put a hand on my forehead and closed my eyes.
“Are you alright Takumi?” Mai asked.
“I just got really dizzy.” I answered then it felt like I blacked out.
