I put my wings around Mai and I. I could hear Haru freaking out. I kissed Mai’s cheek.
“Should we tell them?” Mai whispered in my ear.
“Not right now, we’ll just let them think that we like each other but are too afraid to ask each other out.” I told her.
“Alright.” She said and I opened my wings to see Haru being calmed down by Aki.
I hid my wings from sight again and let go of Mai. “So are you two spending the night?”
“You sure, I mean we don’t want to intrude.” Aki stated.
“It’s fine, you’re not intruding, we were just practicing for our theater class.” Mai smiled.
‘That’s a good one. I never would have thought of our class as an excuse.’ I thought to myself.
“Ok then we’ll go and get our stuff.” Aki chirped.
“Alright then, see you two in an hour.” I commented.
“It would take that long.” Haru protested.
“With you two, yes it will.” I smirked and made Mai giggle.
“Come on Haru.” Aki sighed and pulled him along.
“See you Aki.” Mai waved.
“Yep, see you soon.” She yelled then shut the door.
“Well I guess I should get dinner started.” I sighed and played with my lip ring as I headed to the kitchen.
“I’ll help.” Mai offered following me.
“You don’t have to.” I tooled her.
“I know, I want to though.” I turned back to see her smiling at me.
“Alright. Remember though that means tonight we can’t kiss, hold hands, or cuddle.” I reminded her and her smile turned into a frown. It seemed the she forgot about that.
“She kissed me lightly and I couldn’t help but pull her in and wrap my arms around her and kiss her back. I started running my fingers up and down her back and she broke away for a second and kissed me again.
I pulled away slowly, “We should go and make dinner now, before they come back.” I stated.
“Alright.” She smiled and we went into the kitchen and when we were half way done with making the hamburger helper they came back.
“We’re back!” Haru shouted.
“Ok. Just throw your stuff where ever.” I answered pouring out the grease from the pan into a small tin cup.
“So what are we having for dinner?” He asked.
“Hamburger helper.” Mai said.
“Sweet, I haven’t had that in a while.” Aki said walking into the kitchen and sitting down next to Haru.
Right then and there I knew that it was going to be a long night.
