I tried hard not to kiss Takumi back. I pulled away fast and put my hand over my mouth. “Haru what was that for?” Takumi looked back, probably glaring at Haru who was doing an interesting little dance.
“Because.” Haru grinned. Aki was kind of smiling, just a little.
“Why?” Takumi asked flatly.
“Oh, well, I thought that…”
“You thought what?” Takumi asked.
“Nothing.” Haru answered. It was tense in the room. So Haru apologized.
“Sorry…” Haru muttered an apology. Takumi stood up and held out his hand. Haru walked to him and went to shake it, but Takumi pulled him close to him and put his wings around Haru, who started to freak out.
“NO NO, GET ME OUT, LET ME GO! S-STOP IT!” I heard him screaming, sounding a bit muffled. Aki folded her arms.
“A bit of scolding will do him good. He needs to think before he speaks.” She said. I giggled a little. I suddenly heard Takumi laugh evilly, and I couldn’t take it anymore, and I burst out laughing.
“IT’S NOT FUNNY AT ALL!” Haru yelled. Takumi pulled his wings back and made them disappear again. Haru was on the floor breathing heavily. “I guess I deserved that.” He said. I walked over and pulled his ear so he stood up. “Owowowowow…now that one I didn’t deserve.” He said.
“Now no more fighting, ok?” I asked them.
“Alright…take the fun out of everything.” Takumi muttered. I smiled sweetly.
“Well if you feel that way. Have a great night everyone, I’ll be on my way back home now.” I got up and went to the door and almost opened it up when I heard Takumi’s voice.
“I was joking Mai, please don’t leave.” I laughed a little and sat back down.
“That was kinda cruel.” Haru said carefully.
“I don’t think it was.” Takumi replied.
“Of course you don’t. I wish I could read your mind. It still bugs me I can’t.” Aki complained.
“You’re a lucky man Takumi.” Haru smirked.
“It’s because no one can contain this awesomeness.” Takumi grinned.
“Oh I think I can.” I corrected.
“Oh! Someone just got owned!” Haru laughed.
“Well she has a point.” Takumi agreed with me.
“It’s because she practically lives here.” Aki stated. I thought about that for a bit. I did spend a lot of time here. It was the one place where I felt like I belonged, where I was happy.
“Yeah…this is my home.” I smiled.
“Well actually it’s my house.” Takumi said. ‘Wow, right over his head that statement was.’ I thought. I smiled and figured I would talk to him about that later when we were alone. The thought sent shivers down my spine. I was really looking forward to it. Not that I wasn’t having fun now, but…
“Let’s play a game.” Aki said, breaking my thought.
“Alright, what game?” I asked.
“Well we can play truth or dare, or spin the bottle.”
“Whatever happened to Monopoly or Clue?” Takumi blinked. I laughed. It was just too cute.
“Truth or Dare.” Haru decided. Takumi agreed.
“Alright, then that’s what we’re playing.” Aki nodded.
“You start Aki, it was your idea.” I smiled.
“Ok, um…Mai, truth or dare?” She asked. I thought a bit, but then decided just to go with it.
“…Dare.”
“Um…let’s see, I want you to…take your shirt off.” She suddenly said. My heart dropped.
“Um…” My face was burning up, but, a dare was a dare, so I quickly pulled it off and wrapped my arms around myself so I was covering up as much of me as I could. Takumi’s face was red and he turned his head so that his gaze was as far away from me as it could get.
“Oh Mai, don’t be that way. You have a lovely figure. It’s your turn.” Aki grinned at me.
“T-Takumi truth or dare?” I asked.
“Truth.” He answered, not turning.
“Do I look that bad that you looked away?” I asked quietly.
“N-No, it’s just I’m not used to girls with their tops off.” He said innocently. I smiled. He was so innocent, even though he talked big sometimes. I heard Haru snicker. Takumi must have too. “Haru truth or dare?” He asked him.
“Dare baby.” Haru smirked.
“I dare you to hold onto five of my feathers for the rest of the game.” Takumi made some heathers appear hand handed them to Haru. He frowned.
“F-Fine.” Haru grabbed them without looking. “Aki truth or dare?”
“Truth.”
“So exactly how long have you liked me? I don’t think I ever asked that before.” Haru asked.
“I think since freshmen year.” Aki answered. I could see that. It was about the time things started happening.
“THAT LONG?!” Haru yelled completely shocked.
“Yeah.” Aki laughed.
“So you’re not much better then Takumi. Just saying.” I felt the need to say it.
“Hey don’t pair me up with him.” Takumi defended.
“Ok Takumi truth or dare?” Aki asked.
“Dare.” ‘Aki…what are you going to make him do?’ I asked her.
‘You’ll find out.’ She answered. “I dare you to…kiss Mai.”
‘That’s it?’ I smiled. “Alright…if I have to.”
‘Well I was going to say make out, but I figured it would be a bit strange.’ She answered. Takumi leaned over and gave me a light kiss on my nose.
“You never specified where I had to kiss her.” Takumi pointed out. I frowned. I was looking forward to an actual kiss.
“That’s true.” I sighed.
“Ok Mai truth or dare?” Takumi asked me.
“G-Give me a dare.” I said.
“I dare you to put your shirt back on.” He said. I quickly did. “You’re welcome.”
“Yeah, thank you. Aki truth or dare?” I asked.
“Dare.” She said confidently.
“Someone’s stepping out of their comfort zone.” Takumi teased. She stuck her tongue out at him in response.
“I dare you to, make Haru blush.” I said smiling. She slid over towards Haru more and I could hear everything she was saying, but just barely.
“We can do something together later, just the two of us.” Her fingers ran up and down his arm lightly. I saw the goose bumps on Haru’s skin forming. He stayed silent, maybe thinking for a minute. “Please.” Aki added.
“You…uh…r-really?” He stammered.
“I just want to cuddle. Were you thinking of something else?” She asked innocently. Haru’s face and ears turned pink, and I laughed.
“Ok Takumi again, truth or dare?” Aki asked.
“Truth.”
“Ask something embarrassing!” Haru begged.
