He sat and listened intently to all her evidence it was impressive she knew a lot more than him anyway and he knew a lot about the case the only thing they were missing were a face and name “but yeah as I said all the murders happened during the day which is weird because at least 70% of crimes like murder happen at night because its more discreet but this person has no problem killing in broad daylight, all the houses have no sign of a break in so either this person is good at breaking in, can disguise themselves as a close relative or friend to their victim or they disguise themselves as a member of the public you’re supposed to be able to trust” she gently stroked the back of her left forearm with a thoughtful expression on her face “like the police?” asked Satu, she paused then nodded “some one who could get into a house just by asking and not causing a scene, would say the police would be a good bet, but! I think there's more to it they would need a reason to go in the house so maybe… asking to use the loo or!” she stopped like she had had a break through “of course! Think about it!” she was talking fast trying to get her point across “what would you do if you saw an injured girl stood on your doorstep? Girls are harmless and an injured one would need your help even more, vulnerable, that’s how she’s doing it!” she had a determined look on her face “hang on a sec” interrupted Satu “how did we establish it was a girl who is doing this, why not a guy?” there was no evidence to prove it was a guy or a girl but if Kalea was right about the way they got into the house then a female would find it easier, any guy would jump at the opportunity to get a young lady into their house and any adult would feel the need to help them and even if it was an old person they would let them in, but if it was a guy he would probably be stereotyped as a trouble maker and sent away “I think she doesn’t only use the method of looking vulnerable to get in, for male victims she could flirt around and try to hook up with them and she could easily knock on the door and just barge in but I don’t think she does that all the victims are murdered further into the house rather than on the doorstep”
“she could make them chase her around the house” he had a slightly amused tone in his voice, she scowled at him “now is not the time to be making pathetic jokes like that” her expression had changed and now she just looked sad, she sighed “look Satu I need to tell you why I'm such a good detective” he just looked at her “the difference between us is not in the intellectual side in fact you might be cleverer than me, no the reason I'm so good is because I believe in the supernatural” his eyes widened
