It was Akina's first day of high school. She walked up to the massive building, and gulped. It was huge! She looked down at her schedule.
"Hmm...I have Freshman Advanced Music first. I have to find the room."
Before she could think, she slipped on the linoleum floor, causing her belongings to spread across the floor.
"I'll help you!" Akina heard a cheery voice coming from behind her. she turned around to see a short-haired little blond girl. Wait a second! That wasn't a girl at all! It was a little boy, in a Girl's Uniform!
"Hello, I'm Momiji Sohma," he smiled. He looked down at the open planner, and scanned the schedule.
"Freshman Advanced Music? I'm there first period too! I know where it is, so I'll walk you there!" Akina looked into Momiji's large, brown eyes. This, she thought. Is a boy I think I can trust.
THREE YEARS LATER
It was the last day of senior year, and Momiji Sohma clasped his girlfriend, Akina Kakaro's small, warm, hand as he walked down the hall. Out of the spur of the moment, he kissed her. (He could because his curse had been broken. SPOILER!)He fumbled around with a small ring in his pocket. He grabbed her hand, and led her to an empty classroom. There, he knelt onto one knee. Akina gasped as he pulled the ring from his pocket.
"Akina Kakaro, I loved you since i first met you. You warmed my heart when i was cold. You helped me cheer up when crying was the only thing I could do. You made me believe in myself when all was lost. You were that faint, distant light in the darkness. You were hope. I want to ask you now, if you would spend the rest of your life with me. Will you marry me?" He slipped the ring onto her finger.
Through tears, Akina nodded.
"Yes," she cried. "I'll marry you."
