"HER TAIL!! CUT OFF HER TAIL!!", Piccolo shouted from above, but his commands fell on stunned ears. Trunks remained where he stood, atop one of the many buildings belonging to the Capsule Corp. It's roof starting to give under the increasing weight of the being that stood before him. What had happened? She was fine just a minute ago. Yet in the few seconds that he wondered such things, Bura was right before him, changing at a great rate. Her face had narrowed into a long snout, bearing fearsom jaws and souless eyes. The blue hair that mirrored his mother's had vanished into a thick mane of dark fur. Her entire body erupted in muscles, tearing through her clothes to reveal a massive body resembling a great monkey. The roof finally gave way to her weight and she fell to the floor, landing easily while Trunks took to the air. A white energy disk flew through the night air, aimed at the tail of the giant primate only to be blocked by it's right arm. A sharp gash appeared along with a light flow of blood. The great ape glared up at Piccolo and gave a deep growl. Piccolo narrowed his eyes and glanced up at the projection floating in the sky. A full moon was present yet he was unable to get rid of it. The image was coming from one of Dr. Brief's giant projections located in one of his facilites, filled with people, he couldn't demolish the building.
The giant monkey lunged right past Piccolo and began leaping through the city, suprisingly causing only minor damage to the pavement and screeching cars to a hault. Vegeta burst into the sky, joining Trunks and Piccolo. Goku also appeared suddenly with Gohan via "Instant Transmission".
"Whoa! What happened?!", asked Goku eyeing the collapsed building he was above.
"Bura,...I don't know what...changed...", replied Trunks, still a bit shocked.
"A full moon present along with a transformed saiyan, what the hell else could of caused this, Kakkarot?!" said Vegeta, matter-of-factly, taking off toward Bura.
"Oh, right!" grinned Goku looking up at the moon, "That takes me back. Well, we better cut off her tail!". Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and Trunks fly off to join Vegeta in the chase.
"I don't get it. Her 'tail'?", asks Trunks.
"You'll see!", Gohan replies.
The huge primate was at the edge of the city when Goku and the rest caught up with Vegeta. Nearly all of their attacks on it's tail had been blocked by the great ape, both arms and it's back cut up with bloody wounds. It was when they had come to a huge clearing of open field that Piccolo came to a realization,
"We're doing too much damage to her! We need a clear shot of only her tail!", he shouted.
"That's easier said than done! Our attacks are on target, but she's been able to block each and every one!", Goku shouted back.
"Well than it's obvious of what should be done?!", yelled Vegeta, throwing back an impatient glare, "We need to distract her from the front while someone attacks from behind!". Goku, Gohan, Trunks and Piccolo exchanged glances.
"That should work in theory", replied Piccolo, "...and you've decided who cuts off her tail, havent' you?"
"Off cousre I have," said Vegeta with a confidant smirk. His eyes shifted towards Trunks, "Don't screw this up, boy".
Vegeta's plan was simple, Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and he were to get Bura's attention from the front, keeping her in the same spot long enough with minor assaults so that Trunks can rush her from behind and slice off her tail, thus reversing her transformation. Trunks was ordered not to release his ki while on his attack so that the Bura could not sense him coming. Trunks unsheathed the sword on his back and took his place on the ground. The giant monkey had slowed down to a staggering walk due to her injuries. It was almost 1/2 a mile from him. Goku held out his arm to the others, his "Instant Transmission" ability would get them all infront of the primate quickly, with a slight chance of surprising it. The other four fighters vanished from sight, leaving Trunks on his own. His eyes were fixed on the giant ape, his sword held securly in his hands. The ape ahead of him stopped suddenly, almost taking a complete step back. That was his cue. Trunks charged forward.
