Three and a half hours went by and Bura still wasn't able to fall asleep. At first, it was her emotions that were keeping her up but now, the cold night air was a factor. Her back felt like it was locking causing her shoulders and spine to ache. The sound of crunching leaves and snapping twigs jolted her even more awake. Nappa was making his way past were she and Raditz were at. Bura heard Nappa grumble something that sounded like "...gotta take a leak..." before he dissapeared deeper into the woods.
"Why'd he have to come tromping by here to go to the bathroom?!", she thought angrily as she sat up. She put her back against the pine tree and drew in her legs, wrapping her arms and tail around them. Even the bristly hairs of her tail seemed chilled.
"I don't understand how they can sleep in this cold", she thought to herself, "I feel as if I'm about to freeze over!" Bura looked at Raditz, who was completly undisturbed. His chin was resting on the chest of his armor, his arms crossed and his legs eased infront of him. His hair was so long, an excess portion of it was laying in a small pile next to him. Bura concluded that that was how Raditz kept warm. Her eyes shifted from the tails of his hair to his face.
"He looks like he's in a deep sleep",she thought carefully, "If I don't wake him up, I'm sure he won't mind if I borrow his hair. He's not using that part anyway!". A small gust of cold air went by and Bura had made up her mind. She quietly started to crawl torwards Raditz, her eyes fixed on his face, trying not to make a sound to wake him up.
Several minutes later, Nappa finally mangaged to find his way back to were he, Raditz and Bura had been sleeping. He glanced down at the pine tree were Bura had been and nearly did a double-take when he saw she was no longer there.
"The brat!", he growled, "She's gone!"
"Relax", said a voice behind him. Nappa turned around to see Raditz looking up at him.
"She's right here". His right hand moved to his side and picked up the end pieces of his hair to show a still sleeping Bura. Nappa sneered and reached to grab her hair but was blocked by Raditz's hand,
"Leave her. She'll be in a better condition to fight if she's well rested".
"Yeah right!" mocked Nappa as he turned to leave,
Bura shifted and drew herself in tighter. He dropped his hair back on her head and she eased up again. Raditz gave a deep sigh, crossed his arms and tried for sleep again.
