"Why don't you introduce yourself tootz." It took me a second to realize she was looking right at me.. Expecting me to do my introduction. She stared at me and I stared back, not fully sure how I should react until finally the silence was broken with some giggling. I sighed as she finally tore her gaze away and started on her introduction.
Now, what had she said her name was? 'Satri... She had long blonde hair and looked a little younger than me. It went quiet again and I snapped out of my train of thought. Great. I hadn't thought of anything to say, but no one else was saying anything so... I might as well?
"My names Jasper.. But I guess you might have already herd that from Terse.. Gah, I mean Captain Terse..." I stopped for a second. I hated talking in front of people I didn't know. I didn't know what to say next. "That's it."
'Satri narrowed her eyes, "But you just told us your name! That can't be it!" I looked around trying to figure out what else to say. "Well... I'm from Haven.. My name is Jasper," wait I already said that.. "I like... fixing things..I'm 22 years old" I tried to think of something else about me and the first thing that came out of my mouth probably shouldn't have, "And I smoke."
It was silent after that and I sorta wished my introduction had gone differently. I wasn't sure what to do after that so I turned to the nearest person and pointed, "Your turn..." I said awkwardly and looked away.
