I looked at the thing Rei had given me and examined it carefully. It was interesting, that's for sure. I kind of wanted to break it apart and see how it was made, but he would probably try and kill me if I did that.
Looking it over, I thought about how I could try and merge with it but still keep it in tact AND give it back to him. Thinking... Thinking... Thinking.... That's right!
I started to partially merge with it. It was made very well and it's structure was interesting above all. I think I could make some sort of cheap knock-off... I started to think of all the unused mechanical things that were just sitting around in my body *shot*.
I started to compile some parts that could work in after a moment or two, I had something that resembled what it could do, it wasn't as good or anything, but it was still something. I un-merged with it and made sure I hadn't broken it before handing it back to Rei.
He seemed suspicious of what I had just done and seemed to look it over himself to make sure I hadn't done anything before he put it back in his pocket.
