Ok, here's a brief descriptions of how D&D style would work. This would be a little more like a board game when in battle if we do it this way.
1. You will fill out a little stat sheet that makes sense for your character. You will also put down a few abilities.
2. Our team makes a move then their team does.
3. Every action has a base value. That's the guaranteed effect. There is also the random addition. How high this random addition is, is determined by an attribute called luck. The addition of these two values together will get you what I'll refer to as (net value.)
Everyone confused yet? Good there's more.
4. All enemies have stats too, and a basic AI that I'll determine.
5. There is a stat called speed. It determines how far you can move. Attacking takes up one of your moves.
Here's an example of a turn. I'll pretend we have a character sheet for K'satri.
K'satri has a speed of 3, she can either move 3 spaces, or 2 spaces and attack.
In this pretend scenario she moves 2 and attacks. She uses Wrath of Steve.
At this point the move is sent to me by comment on the post.
It has a base attack of 5, and she has a luck of 4. So I put it into a random number generator, I get the number 3 out. I add the base attack 5 and the random number 3 for 8 damage. The leech has 2 Defense, so you subtract that from attack. The total damage is 6.
Wrath of Steve also has a side effect. It knocks an enemy back 1 space. So the leech is moved away from K'satri one space.
One more quick example of an ability could be Rei's acid blood. This could cause him to lose a small amount of health to damage his enemy. It could also damage the enemy over several turns.
Ok, so if you want to give it a try vote here. There are three ways to vote.
1. Sounds fun, I'd want to try this all the time.
2. I'm interested in it, lets give it a trial run once.
3. HAHAHA, you thought that was a good idea. No, no. You sir suck more than Charles ever will.
