We slowly made are way towards the main part. How could I tell? These freaking things kept appearing more and more and MORE! D< Gahh! I wish I had more than this small thing to fight with.
"Ow, you stupid things!" I yelled and burned it off my arm before it fell to the ground smoking a little. "Wow, that was harsh..." Charles commented before
laughing and moving on. I grumbled.
I started thinking about other weapons I might have before I got an idea. I took out my lighter and changed a few things around. Before long, I had a fiery cannon of death.
Laughing a bit, I flicked it open and started the small flame before putting my hand behind it. The flame flickered a second before increasing and becoming almost like a torch.
Things seemed to go faster this way, and I was glad. The stupid things finally seemed to get that them+fire=bad and started moving towards the plant. As we got closer, I flipped the lighter and the flame went out before putting it back in my pocket.
We had killed a good lot of them and it wasn't much until we got to the main source of power. The yellow blobs were everywhere and sparks sometimes appeared around them.
"Jasper, you go and try to shut down the power so the leeches stop growing." Charles said. I nodded... Wait.. Why was Charles being so serious? And giving me orders? I looked back at him and all his seriousness had disappeared as he walked and slipped on a leech.
Sighing I quickly located the power and disposed of the leeches around it before shutting the power off. The lights flickered before going dark, but there was still the small bit of glowing light around the leeches. It should be easy going now. I thought as I heard 'Satri and Charles start to attack.
