enjoy this lump of suck

After sending Charles to help Jasper, K'satri continued to attack the leeches. However, she paused when every last one of them stopped moving. She at first thought that somehow Charles and Jasper had managed to freeze them or something, but then they started to squirm and roil.

"What the hell?" K'satri muttered, confused. Just then, all the smaller wiggling jellies flew toward the largest one. "Oh shit…"

Before her eyes, what seemed like a manageable group of leeches became one towering monster. A newly formed three story leech loomed before the soldier. 'Satri stared up at the thing in awe, then grinned at the challenge.

She ran at the blob, dodged some blob barf, and managed to jump onto a small awning above the door where Charles had entered the building. Before Mr. Slime had a second to redirect its fire, K'satri managed to swing down into the doorway.

Cautiously she poked at the door with her stave. The metal rings nearest the door fizzled.

"Must be more inside…" K'satri mumbled. "But first i gotta take car of this guy…"

Thinking fast, she ripped off a section of her tights as the massive leech came closer. She tied it to one end of the stave and touched the metal rings to the door handle. The resulting sparks manage to set the cloth on fire.

"Thank god!" She breathed and hurled the stave at her target just as it lunged.

When the flame hit the mass of goo, she was already scrambling away up the side of the building. (I'm assuming she's outside, but whatever)

She giggled happily as she watched the thing burn, then sent a silent prayer to whatever god would listen that she'd find a new stave.

Lacking grace, she slipped into a smashed window and tried to find the main control room where she suspected jasper and Charles to be. She was able to identify the correct door because a huge wall of leeches had attached themselves to the structure, trying to get to Jasper.

"Ahhh shit."

She had to come up with a plan, fast.

"Uh………..heeeere leech leech, come get some fresh meat!" she held out her communicator.

The wall of goo twitched and expanded toward her, leaving art of the door clear.

"C'mon you damn goop-ball, just come and get it!" She flung the communicator out the window toward the blaze she had stared. Hopefully the other one would follow i and manage to burn itself up.

She was overjoyed when the giant leech sprang free from the door and raced after the long gone communicator.

K'satri ran to the door, grabbed the handle and smashed her way inside.
