I got up and headed out the door. I didn't want to be here when he noticed his arm was gone. Des look up when I walked out into the hall. "He's up..." That was when I could hear his heart monitor kick up. "Sounds like he noticed...I'm gonna go walk around and check to make sure the locks to this sh*t hole are holding up." She nodded before she Seth an Satri ran into Charle's room.
Jasper was at the west entrance so I headed to the east one. When I got there I took a peek out the tiny piece of window. The people were going nuts out there. They probably wanted to kill us. My thoughts went back to Charles and I took a shuddering breath...I needed a cig. I reached into my coat pocket and pulled out my pack of cigarets. My hand was shaking pretty bad. "D*mnit!" I punched the wall. I was such a dick to him all the time!
When we had pulled up it had been bad. Then when we tried to get Charles to a hospital the people had gone crazy. Orders came down for us to retreat into the old hospital until things got back under control enough for them to get us out of here. I had sat in his room almost the whole time, but I will never let him know that. I just...I felt...bad.
I slid down to the floor an took a drag. He sure is the most annoy guy I've ever met....but he's still....my friend. And my teammate. I stiffened as I heard the sound of glass breaking. "Sh*t..." I lifted up my communicator and started trying to call Des. I hare technology! I could hear footsteps now. I got up and ran towards them. "What is it Rei?" Good I got it to work! "Someone got in on the east side. I'm going to try to neutralize them before more get in." I was close to them now. "Don't do something stupid! I'm heading to your position." I ignored her of course. "There's only 2."
I stopped at the corner and waited. Suddenly a big guy rounded the corner. His eyes widened when he saw me. I punched him square in the face and sent him flying backwards into his partner. He had a gun and the other had a big pipe looking thing. "You should have stayed outside..." The one I had punched glared at me. "F*cking genetic freak! What have you b*stards done?!" My eyes narrowed. "Leave...I don't have to tell you anything. And I'm not in a good mood right now. So I'm giving you one last chance to leave before I hurt you."
I heard the click right before the gun went off. I whirled to the side and pain exploded in my shoulder. I hadn't heard the other person sneaking up behind me. My blood dripped down my arm and I tried not to scream. I needed to close my wound before I died. "IDIOT!!!" I let out a forced laugh when Des and Seth showed up. "You're slow..." Their eyes widened when they saw my arm starting to burn, but they had the three intruders under control in the blink of an eye.
Des rolled her eyes at me. "I understand you feel bad, but trying to lose your arm to match your boyfriend is a little too much don't cha think?" I reached into my pocket and pulled out my cartalizer, flipping her off as I used my teeth to pull the cap off. I started to close the wounds that my blood was causing in my arm. "Guess that's what I get for trying to be nice...I shoulda just beat the s*it outta em and relieved my anger...."
~Um...yeah...Rei is gonna b in a reeeal good mood now cause he's hurt an mad ^^;
Rei:...and that was my last cig -_- I didn't even get to finish it
Me: SMOKINGS BAD FOR YOU!!
Rei: *shrugs* eveythings bad for you
