Hello, and almost welcome to Genesis. After the killing off of a character, we need a replacement. It may just be you or more than one person joining if you so choose, we're not sure how many will join yet. You may have to wait until a better time to add your character due to story telling reasons. You should message Shom about joining. Below is a story summary to help in your decision making. To understand the summary fully, I suggest you read the intro on the RP page. You need to wait about a month after your first character to make a Stern character. I also expect semi-consistent posts. Lasts person to fail was cannibalized.
The team of Des, Charles, K'satri, Rei, Seth, and Jasper set out on their first mission in Magnate. Creatures called Leeches, which suck electricity for their growth, have been attacking power plants there. The team fairly easily rids these plants of this infestation, but Des is left with a moral problem. She was contacted by her commanding officer, and informed that due to political issues, she wants her to destroy the power plant, sending a message. Des begrudgingly agrees. The destruction of the power plant causes rioting in the city of Magnate.
An accident before leaving the power plant injures Charles. He is taken to a nearby hospital in the city of Magnate for treatment. The squad barricades themselves in the hospital to treat Charles, where he has his arm amputated. The team is used as patsies in this political problem, having the entirety of the blame put on them. The Furor sends his personal squad to capture them for public execution. The name of this squad is Stern.
The team tries to evacuate the hospital upon learning of their arrival. They have a short brawl with them. By the end Des has her wings burned, Rei has several bullet wounds, and Jasper has his arm cut. On the bright-side, they disfigured Sally's legs. The team escapes the battle in a steam screen.
Seth, the unposting one, stays as a sacrifice to slow them down, and is canabalized. The team escapes STERN into an old sewer system. They make it to the end of the sewers, which comes to a dump outside the city, but the exit is blocked by iron bars.
Unable to break the bars in their weakened state, they take advantage of a passing by ram (Giant creature that ram's things, duh.). To smash through the bars. At the point of this message being typed, the team is about to fight said Ram.
