Charles the Match-Maker

~Charles

Rei had just left with Des. He broke a lamp when he got mad about a simple observation. I told him that if he took a sip of Nyx's potion, I bet he could turn full furry for a few minutes. I thought it was perfectly logical, but he didn't seem to appreciate me considering him anything but full furry, or something like that. I find it hard to understand him sometimes.

Jasper came over to me. "You should really help the two of them. It's partially your fault."

"How is it my fault, all I did was try to help him out."

Jasper sighed. "Charles, could you just do this for me?"

"Fine."

After all the tormenting that furry does, I'm expected to help him with his mess. I should get back at him somehow... I found the two of them looking in a closet for the vacuum. It was then I knew what I had to do. I shut the door on them, and barred it. That'll teach them.

I paced around in the hall for a few minutes humming my favorite tune guarding the door. This will teach them. I can only imagine how miserable it was in there for the two of them. After long enough though I had gotten bored and headed back to the room.

On the door to our room, I found a note that wasn't there before. It was stuck on with a piece of tape. The lettering on it was cut out of articles, like a ransom note. It looked like it had been crumpled up before. I started to read it over in my head.

To Des, Seth, Charles, Rei, Jasper, and K'satri

I need you to go to gravestone inside of Haven in exactly three days. Don't be followed.

I'm so sorry for everything, this is all my fault.

I pulled it off, and brought it inside to show the others.
