But have you ever noticed that one thing why we admire some charaters so much?
Beside that they usually reflect something about us that we like in ourselfes or they value the same thing as we do but in much bigger portion. Those that we admire.
What I want to say is, we know they never grow old, when we become old, have kids and grandchilds we know that somewhere there is a place were those game charaters that we so much admire, they never grow old or have kids or something like that.

you must understand, what kind of a shock it was to me, a guilty gear fanatic, who loves Kiske more than life. I who could always imagine him only for myself (or in some fanfictions to Sol), read that in Guilty Gear II ouverure, he has a son.
My God!
He had became a father, in his life there is a woman, and I dont know whit who is he cheating on me!
That felt horrible, to know I had loose him to another.
But I felt very sadly happy, I could smile and say "He must be a good father, even thou he might raise him to his own strick catholic believings I still think he loves his child over everything"
An in someway I felt that I had grown little older myself.
Shocking but so is life as well.
As my Idols grows older and has kids and granchilds, I feel no more so lonely, my friends are raising their families.
Maybe someday I will too.
