My game: Nidoking is evolving!
My reaction: O_o WHAT?!
Did I miss something? Since when does Nidoking evolve???
Okay, let's start from the beginning.
I'm on Pokemon Red Version for the gameboy color, walking through the moonstone cave when I run into a Clefairy. I fight with my strong Nidoking and the fight ends rather anticlimactically... or does it?
My game alerts me that Nidoking is evolving!
This I gotta see...
Congratulations! Nidoking evolved into Tentacruel!

So now, whenever I fight with my beloved Nidoking, It comes out named "Nidonking" and uses attacks like earthquake and fissure and strength but it looks like a tentacruel and sounds like a tentacruel and..... I don't know WHY.
Well, I guess my Nidoran just wanted to be a Tentacruel when it grew up. ^_^
