Sorry, I know I complain a lot here, but is it really that hard to tell if someone's using base work or not? How many people seriously fall for this? It's ridiculous!
In my opinion, it's not even real art. People who use bases are what I like to call "shortcut" artists. They won't take the time to actually learn how to draw something on their own, so they take someone else's work and hide the fact that they're not as good as what they'd like you to believe.
Ugh, I hate seeing that garbage on the front page.
I can be a bit of an art snob sometimes, but that is definitely not art. That's some weeaboo fantard trying to be cool by giving off "Hey guiz! Look how KAWAII DESU I draw!"
Now I understand that base work can allow some people to learn to draw, but when your entire gallery is practically full of it, it tells me you're not even trying. That, and if you're not even giving proper credit to the person that made the majority of your "artwork" then...
