Get to know the guitar strings. (i will try to explain this as easy as i can)
the gaps are frets (fret f1=gap 1) f2, f3, f4 etc.) *f=Fret*

B------- ------------ ------------ --------
G------- ------------ ------------ --------
D------- ------------ ------------ --------
A------- ------------ ------------ --------
E------- ------------ ------------ --------(The Thickest string)

This E is the string closest to you which is also the thickest string)
How i remember the string order is by this poem
Every
Apple
Does
Go
Bad
Eventually
so......:
Eventually---> E-------------------
Bad ------> B-------------------
Go ------> G-------------------
Does------> D-------------------
Apple ----> A-------------------
Every ----> E-------------------
pluck every string once and say the name of the string in your head, then soon you will automatically remember which string is which.
