A soft chuckle escaped from Larvas’ lips. He leaned over to the excited Neko and gently wiped the ice cream from his face with a napkin. With soft, dark ruby eyes he observed the light within Kero silently. Something in him was always radiating and Larva couldn’t help but want to be near that warmth.
Eli polished off her ice cream and set her spoon down. She looked over to Ha-chan and noticed her writing something down on paper. She watched as the girl passed it down the table and went back to her food with an almost somber look. Eli was curious as to what had been silently transpiring whilst everyone else enjoyed dinner. She watched her for a moment and then decided to get up.
Larva asked Kero in a tone that was meant for only his ears “Was there anything else you wanted?” He looked down at the Neko with the darkest of reds in his irises. Larva only wanted anything that would make Kero smile. He had had this feeling, for awhile now, that Kero needed something deep inside. That something bad had happened to him before and Larva wanted to mend the tattered and torn pieces he saw flicker across the boys face.
Eli started to clean up left over plates and various pieces of silver ware. She looked over at Ha-chan, motioning with her eyes for her to help and to follow her to the kitchen.
[color=purple] Kero smiled shyly when he felt Larva's hand on his back, and took a small scoop of the ice-cream when it was passed around, handing it carefully to Larva. he smiled slightly, taking a nibble of it and smiling brightly, his whole face lighting up due to the taste. the neko loved sweet things, and this ice cream was just delicious! he licked his lips, leaving a small dot of ice cream near the corner of his mouth before offering the bowl to Larva, his eyes bright and smiling.
"It's so good!" he beamed, smiling at the boy.
I felt chills go down my spine as Kyoya glared at me, and looked away sadly. i pulled a small black piece of paper out of my sleeve and began scribbling on it with a mini-pen, in small ornate letters that said I'll pay you back. i passed it down to him, not looking as he read it and instead popping a bit of sushi in my mouth, not looking anyone in the eyes and eating silently.
Nekozawa looked from Ha-chan to Kyoya quickly, then back at Kyoya. he pulled on the larger boy's sleave gently, looking at him with curious eyes.
"What's wrong, kyoya-kun? are you okay?" he asked quietly, unsure why the boy looked so mad.
Mello was almost drooling on the table, and had to wipe his mouth before he stained the tablecloth. he leaned over and kissed near gently on the cheek.
"You know exactly what i like." he smiled.
the twins looked from one to the other, rather bored with the goings on at the table. the looked at each other and grinned, nodding.
"This is no fun." hikaru whispered.
"It's boring." kaoru agreed. hikaru took a small piece of sushi and flung it in the air, hitting his brother on the nose with a smirk. [/color]

Larva watched Kero scoot closely to him and observed the intention in his eyes carefully. Larva was impeccable when it came to observations seeing as how he’d had an unlimited amount of time to practice. He respected that Kero kept his space while at the dinner table. Larva moved one of his hands from his lap over to Keros’ lower back to calm him. He continued to keep his eyes in front of him, listening and watching Ha-chan as she made her speech but he knew the look on Keros’ face from the way he moved his body.
Eli blushed when Ha-chan brought up her name. She was used to staying away from crowds or staying in the background of whatever project was going on. Eli ate her food fairly quietly though she enjoyed every bit of the hearty meal. The travel to Ha-chans’ had been a long one and knowing how quiet both her and Larva could be they were lucky to have a working radio in the car.
Eli reminded Ha-chan about the red bean traditional ice cream that she made to set out with the loads of chocolate that Mello was bound to devour. She made herself a pleasant helping because it was her favorite and she set out the extra spoons so that it could be passed around.
I laughed softly, slicing my sushi carefully before popping it into my mouth happily, looking around the table. somehow, she felt a menacing presence coming from Kyoya though......
Nekozawa blushed brightly, nodding with a big smile on his face.
"Okay, as long as you're alright!" he beamed, taking a big bite of the fish.
Mello smiled, nodding. "You're right, I can't wait! i'm thinking a chcoclate tier cake...."
I laughed softly, slicing my sushi carefully before popping it into my mouth happily, looking around the table. somehow, she felt a menacing presence coming from Kyoya though......
