(Kaya, I just end up writing a lot XD Your posts are fine :D :D)
Eli laughed in unison with Ha-chan as she tossed the unsuspecting girl a stack of plates. Eli was shocked that there were really that many people coming to dinner. She decided to refocus on the amount of food she was making so that there would be enough.

Keros comment about Larvas eyes would have made him blush if he were human… but he wasn’t. The Nekos touch was like ice against his skin; cool and soothing and he craved such a comfort.
Larva stared down into Keros eyes, examining the entire color spectrum that exuded from his irises. He wanted to remember every color and every detail about him.
“You’re not afraid of me…” Larva spoke quietly and then did something that he hadn’t done in eons. He placed one hand on Keros left cheek being careful on the long, red claws. He leaned down to the Nekos beautiful blushing face and paused only inches from him. He paused to take a breath and search Keros eyes for what he thought he saw, a connection and a young boy unafraid for once in ages… Larva closed his eyes and slowly leaned in. Larvas sweet cinnamon breath filled Keros nostrils as he pressed his soft lips to the Nekos. He didn’t push for more then what Kero would be comfortable with; one simple kiss and he eased away to examine the young boys reaction.
Larva felt alive and warmer inside a cavity then he had in numerous years. His heart felt like there was a vice grip on it and he felt his spirit vibrate. He felt as if he was taking a risk but he felt the rewards greater than the pain that would be in store.
(XDD Kaya-chan, your responses are fine!! *hug*)
I giggled slightly at Kaya's exclamation, tossing her a dishrag.
"Okay, if you want to. we need a plate for You, Eli, I, Kero, Larva, Kyoya, Kaoru, Hikaru, Umehito, Near, and Mello." i smiled, tossing her a dirty plate for every name i called out until she had a large stack in her hands. i laughed slightly, turning back to chopping fish.

Kero blushed as he stood with Larva, looking up at him. his beautiful eyes were running over his body, but somehow he didn't feel awkward. just a little warm....
"I really really like your eyes..." he said quietly, reaching up and stroking over his cheek with his fingertips. not only was his skin clear, it was soft and smooth as well. he wondered if his lips were as soft as his cheek....
his eyes widened and he shook his head quickly, in shock that the thought even crossed his mind. a light blush crossed his mind as he looked into Larva's eyes.
“Thanks Ha-chan!” Eli got to working on her half, the ice cream of course! “Mmmm, this is the best!”
“Hey Kaya, can you get out the plates please?” Eli gave her a smile and seemed to be pretty energetic. Eli and ice cream were a perfect match, she was always excited when it came to dessert!

Larva watched Kero physically settle down. He let the boy cling to him and tried his best to seem human in his responses. Larva often forgot what it was like for humans and often spent his free time studying their movements, trying his best react the way they did. He felt, he thought and he understood but his mind was so different that he was often misunderstood. Yet he was still Shinma and will always be Shinma. It was something that deterred Larva from being close to anyone and was always a hurdle that was hard to jump.
“It was... no problem” Larva said with a seriousness that may have been misunderstood. When Larva was modest or slightly embarrassed he sounded more serious than anything. It was his eyes that always gave him away if one knew what they were looking for. This is how Eli always knew what Larva was feeling, even if his body and voice betrayed one emotion. She could always look into those cold ruby irises and understand.
Larva looked over Kero feeling assured. His eyes ran over the Neko from top to bottom in a slow observance like water trickling down on a misty, rainy day. Those deep and thoughtful eyes touched every part of him, hovering over his ears and that swishing tail, trying to understand the boys thoughts as well as his own…
I laughed, nodding.
"I'll bet you can find whatever you're looking for in the kitchen, you just have to look in the shelves and drawers and refridgerator." I smiled, opening a drawer. a small mouse scampered out, and I picked it up by the tail. "Oh look, a new pet." i laughed, looking in another drawer and pulling out what Emi asked for.

Kero blushed brightly, holding onto Larva tightly. even after he stopped shaking, he didn't want to let go of the other boy. he was so warm and soft, and he felt really safe with him. his ears dropped as he looked up at him, nuzzling into him warmly.
"Thank you so much for protecting me." he said quietly, smiling as he looked up at him, his tail swishing through the air. "It was very sweet."
Eli laughed nervously at Ha-chan. She watched her chop up the fish and she set out the materials in an assembly line type fashion so that it could be done quickly and efficiently. “Just salmon Ha-chan, or do we have cucumbers as well?”

Larva returned the smile and relaxed slightly in hopes that Kero would relax as well.
Larva placed a hand on the back of the boys’ neck and eased his head to his chest in hopes of comfort. “You are safe with me.” Larva let him cling for as long as he needed and until the Neko was unshaken.
