Eli stared at the new boy, studying his look and actions intently. It was something she always did out of reaction and it usually made others uncomfortable. After she had realized she had done it once again she blinked a few times to clear her eyes and waved shyly to him.
Eli watched as Larva studied him also with an almost intense stare. He hadn’t said anything but Eli knew him well enough that the fact that he hadn’t even made the motion to breathe was that he was curious. Larva was instinctively a predator and he saw the world as his prey, ‘King of the Jungle’ if you will. Eli had been around Larva for a good portion of her life and she knew by now how he thought. That alone had made Larva stick around her because there was little to no one that understood him or his thoughts.
Larva stood still in his place waiting for the others to respond so that he didn’t seem to have any interest. He hid his emotions well and being what he was it was even easier to fain interest.
“Well, Dinner sounds great Ha-Chan!” Eli laughed with slight nervousness trying to get some movement out of the silence. “Kaya, would you like to join me in the kitchen?” Eli grinned once again.
