So this is an introductory section primarily for the sake of introducing myself... yay!

How did I get into anime/manga?
I have a gf who absolutely loves manga and anime. (Need I say more?)
Through my childhood I was never allowed to watch Pokemon, Yu-Gi_Oh, Bey-Blade, Naruto, etc.
Therefore, the first Anime I ever watched was Kiki's Delivery Service by Hayao Miyazaki when I was 11.
(about 17 years after it's release-Danish theaters were being slow)
My initial reaction was one of great awe. The movie was just SO AMAZING!!!
Miyazaki's skill and attention to detail was, and still is, one of the very best.
Shortly after that trip to the movies I had a full arsenal of every Studio Ghibli movie I could find.
I watched them constantly and became convinced that they must be the best movies I had ever watched!
After having been in the USA for 3-ish years, 4 girls in my class convinced me to start reading and watching more.
My gf (one of the girls who re-introduced me to manga/anime) gave me a llloooonnnnngggggg list of her favorite manga and anime. Naturally, I'm going through those first.
So far so good-I'll be putting the list (plus some other ones I've read/watched) on here so y'all know what craziness I'm enjoying! ^^
My favorite artist remains Miyazaki-so I decided my user name should relate to that. Haitaka is the Wizard from Tales from Earthsea-his name meaning Sparrowhawk.
I hope someone at least reads this. I see it as a great achievement if someone does : )
Anyway, I should really get to posting my list.

-Movie: Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
-Series: Black Lagoon
2. What's your best cosplay you own if you have any?
-Gray Fullbuster. Impressive, I know. Took forever (about an hour) to complete XD
3. If you had to choose (only 1) your game(s) or your pc(s), which one would you keep?
-PC
4. If you could change your gender would you do it?
-Probably not, unless the special person in my life turned out to be homosexual. Then I would do it without a second thought.
5. What's your favorite song?
-I do not have one favorite song, there are too many to choose from!
6. Do you like Popcorn? (Who doesn't? :D)
-Of course! ^^
7. If Everybody turned into pretzels, what would you do? O_O
-Keep everyone away from water, and try not to eat any... ;)
8. What's your favorite cartoon?
-Favorite non-Japanese cartoon would probably be the original Teen Titans.

Not really, since this is the first time I've actually encountered it ^^
2. If you could fly on a taco to the moon, what flavor taco shell would it be and why?
Hmm... probably Jalapeno if that exists. Wouldn't want to be tempted to eat my own ship ^^ ... I don't think that would be a very good idea!

Not really... but you managed to make me think ^^ (big achievement btw)

Strawberry... hmm... not sure I want to elaborate as to why that is tho ;)
7. Do you know some of the differences between British English (to include Canadian English) and American English?
Yes, and they torment me on a daily basis-I have to choose to spell one way or the other depending on what teacher I have because they become offended if I spell it in the way they don't :/ British use "s" instead of "z" in some cases (like Globalization), and British English sounds much more posh when spoken.
8. Do you care about the differences between the different dialects of English?
Not in a bad way. As someone who travels a lot in the US I find it nice to be able to recognize where people come from by their accents. Dialects are generally easy for me to understand, so I don't mind ^^
9. Are you wondering why I asked #7 and #8?
Hmm... now that you mention it... no, no not really. Seeing as this is a seemingly random combination of questions, I am not really paying attention to what your motive may be for asking me these questions : )
10. Why is your least favorite flavor of ice cream your least favorite flavor of ice cream?
Because it has chunks of raw dough in it. And I don't like raw dough.
11. Did you find my questions funny or annoying (or both)?
Both... because they made me hungry and smile at the same time. You evil nugget!

Ok, so this is a post made with the objective of creating a discussion on WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED IN EPISODE 9?!
I just watched it and... ok... I understand how they fixed Eren being ingested by a Titan-kudos to them! But how are they going to fix a partially-evolved Eren with a copper ball shot through his arm?! I mean there was only the skeletal torso left!! And only part of the head was formed!
It was an awesome episode, but I honestly do not see a non-BS way out of this. If Eren can recover from a heavily injured partial transformation easily, that's really just giving the main protagonist super powers. That's no fun!
I'm looking forward to episode 10 subbed next Saturday, though O_O

Hi there, juts a quick quote from the great anime/manga artist Miyazaki to finish off my day (well, it's past 12, but still...) (Note: In this quote he is referring to young adults.)
Miyazaki is one of my greatest inspirations, both in his works and personal aesthetics. And here's why:
