Hey, I'm Haley Heiderek.
I'm not new here, but this is a new account that I've created. My other account is DeidaraGirl123, so feel free to visit me or contact me on that account as well. In my absence since December of 2008 or very early spring of 2009, it seems a lot of things on here have changed. There's so many new members creating accounts every day! It's almost overwhelming! I remember before the new version of theOtaku was created, there was nowhere NEAR this many peopleon here! Nor were there as many choices of layouts and designs. I remember when there were myOtaku instead of Worlds. Personally, I think the posting mechanics of the Worlds are better than they were on myOtaku, but the myOtaku were more fun. Anyways, time for me to stop reminiscing the good ol' days and tell you the basics of myself... My name is Haley A. Heiderek. I live in the small, morbid, dull town of Burlington, Iowa. My family is originally from Duisburg, Germany. I'm not fond of Iowa in the least. I can descibe it in three words. Cows and Corn. Yea, pretty sad. I'm not the brightest Crayola in the box, but I do well enough in school. I don't tolerate bullies and I hate people who pester or hurt others. I do all I do all I can to prevent people from bullying others, although I often find myself in a resulting fight. I'm not a little girl. I stand up for myself and speak my mind, no matter if you like it or not. I don't think strength, ability, or brains count on gender. Some girls, such as myself, can be just as strong as any boy. Some boys can be smarter than girls. It just doesn't matter in my opinion. And, also, think before you say something to me. I don't take crap from people. If you try to hurt my feelings, it won't work. I have four words for people who don't like me. HATERS MAKE ME FAMOUS!

M.O.N.S.T.E.R.

Hello. Recently, my friend got engaged. I'm very, let's see, unhappy about this. Her exact words to me were, "Haley, D---- gave me an engagement ring this morning! He said he was irrationally in love with me and wanted me forever!" Irrationally? That's a bit of an overstatement, wouldn't you say? Keep in mind, my friend whose name I shant post, is 17. Her boyfriend, as I shall state him, is 19. I know I will get comments saying, "Age is just a number!", but the age isn't what I'm concerned about; I'm concerned about my best friend. This guy is a renowned cheater, liar, and abuser. If this isn't enough to make you want to retch, he's been sleeping around while he's been with my friend. Then, from my friend as a source, he said, "... and I want you forever." Forever? We're human. Sorry to burst your bubble, but there's no forever for us. We all die sometime, right? You don't 'want' another person, perse. You might 'want' to go to a store, but you don't 'want' someone. I've not only told my friend of my ideas and philosophies on this subject, but I've told her about this ignorant and hurtful boy's reputation. What did she say to me? "But Haley, this was in the past. I want to move on and marry D----. I thought you'd be happy." I am happy she's engaged, I really and truly am. I just am upset with the fact she has chosen this certain despicable excuse for a boyfriend, and not to mention a fiancee. I just wish she'll someday see this situation in its true light and seriousness. But, in reality, one can only hope. Will she ever understand?
