When we had taken Clovis to get his bags that night, we found that there was no one in the room. I was slightly disappointed...I really wanted to see the man that had frightened CLOVIS. The next few days...well nights had passed rather quickly. Nothing too great had happened...frankly it was rather boring. Until just before school began. Another one of "Them" appeared. A pureblood....possibly even worse than that arrogant Jezabelle woman. Apparently his name was James...and he was horrible...always walking about with his fangs out and a disgusting air of arrogance surrounding him at all times.
Shori and I had avoided him...avoided them all. But now it was time to head for a meeting of some sort...in the MORNING of all times...
"I don't wanna go Shori...I'm still sleepy..." I whined as he carried me on his back.
"It won't be long Mei...try to make it a little longer okay?" Shori consoled me in his gentle tone. I smiled and stopped my complaining.
The vampires were all escorted to the main hall under the protection of a line of umbrella's, held up by the school employees I guess. Clovis found us and walked with us inside, where Shori had to put me down as we all stood awaiting the Headmaster of the school.
The teachers were all gathered...they were of varying races. I saw the angel from that night, another with wings, a fairy, a werewolf(who looked slightly familiar), and....and....DEATH GODS! TWO OF THEM! My eyes widened as I looked upon them...the one on the left...he had to be the one that scared Clovis...the aura coming off him was downright sinister...and just beside him stood the other. His demeanor was just as sinister...but there wasn't quite the same bloodthirstyness....if that made sense...
"Shori..." I whispered loudly trying to motion to him. He nodded at me...of course he'd already seen as well.
I stood quietly...just waiting for it all to be over. And when it FINALLY was...we returned to the dorms. Instead of going back to MY dorm though, I went with Clovis and Shori to theirs. So that we could discuss the schedules we'd been presented.
"World History...that's with that Sinclair guy..." I snickered. "Oh precious Mr. Sinclair...I will uncover the secret of that wing of yours...fufufu...just you wait..."
Shori put his arms over me from behind and slouched on me a bit. "Oh Mei, just what are you scheming, my dear?"
"Nothing to be trifled with Shori." I smiled mischievously.
"She hasn't changed one bit..." Clovis laughed slightly. "What else do we have...let's see...there's the typical Math and Science...but what's this? Weaponry, and even Defense as well? My my Shori, these are classes in which you shall excel."
Shori stood up straight and threw down his schedule. "Chh...too easy I say. I doubt anyone in this entire academy can give me a decent challenge. Almost disappointing, especially the fact that the teacher will no doubt believe they could "teach" me something I don't already know."
"No kidding!" I threw in. "After all Shori...you're able to fight with or without a weapon...in nearly ALL the styles known to man and demon alike! You're so strong...not even a creature of another race would stand a chance against you...." I smiled...swooning a bit in all his brilliance.
"Now if I only had the motivation." He joked. Yes...there was a lot of sleeping in Shori's forecast.
"What else...what the?!" I stated stepping back a bit...my eyes glued to the schedule.
"What?!" Both Shori and Clovis chimed simultaneously.
"M....m.....m....music...." I stuttered.
Shori busted up the loudest I'd heard him laugh for a long time.
"It's NOT funny Shori...and it says ALL THE RACES will attend this class together...most likely in the evening..." I sighed.
"What are you worried about Shimei?" Clovis queried. "You're terrific with instruments...why you play the most beautiful harpsichord I have ever heard..."
"That doesn't mean I wanna learn them all over again...or that I'd even LIKE playing for anyone else...ugh..." I commented sullenly.
"Don't you worry Mei, it'll all be fine." Shori spoke between breaths. "Your "music class" will be just like my "combat classes"....no fair to either one of us. Or anyone...else...for that matter!!!" He started back with his laughter.
"Ugh! Shori knock it offfffff!!!" I whined pounding him gently with my fists...throwing a slight tantrum.
"Ha ha...okay...if you so wish it. I'll stop..." He relinquished taking my wrists and turning me around to take hold of me again.
Clovis smiled and made his way to the nearby seat. "Well, nevertheless, I'm sure this will prove an interesting venture. Let's see if they can truly keep this school together...shall we?"
We all smiled maliciously in silence for a brief moment. Then I suddenly gasped and pulled away in realization. Pounding my fist into the open palm of my other hand...and making sure I had both Shori and Clovis's COMPLETE attention, I made a declaration...
"There was a FAIRY among the teachers!" I shouted. "I wonder...if we catch her...do you think she'll grant us a wish?!!"
Clovis and Shori nearly fell over in shock, but started laughing loudly once more. I smiled and laughed with them...it was nice...

Sorry it's taken me so long to post everyone...been insanely busy. -_-' Anyhow! Hope you enjoyed meh post! LOL
I had won the game...even though I knew Shori had only LET me win. He constantly did stuff like that...try to hide motives behind games. It had been a long journey from our home...I was famished. So hungry, and Shori knew it. The full moon didn't help anything either. Just looking at Shori's bare neck before me seemed to awaken the hunger. I felt my eyes glowing....he was speaking...but all I could hear was the sound of his blood rushing around in his neck. Slowly, I revealed my fangs as I leaned in closer...
"Bon appetit..." He muttered in my ear, then added, "Don't make too much of a mess Mei..."
I licked his neck gently. Shori was completely still and relaxed, he didn't tense up at all, he sighed in expectation and then I plunged my fangs in. I felt as Shori's arms came up and tightened around me, his breathing short and ruptured in his ecstasy as I drank.
Perhaps this was a strength as well as a weakness...a double-edged sword. My thirst was always quenched by drinking Shori's blood. He was my beloved. The same could be said of his thirst...and thus...this is where it became a weakness. We refused to ever be parted...but if one of us were to die...then the other would die as well. A slow death, by not only intense grief and sorrow...but by starvation. For since we HAD found our beloved...we COULD NOT drink from another source again...this was it...there would be no substitution for the blood we had taken. I was Shori's only source of nourishment...and he was mine....by pledging ourselves to each other...we had chosen this path. But I didn't care, he was the only thing that mattered to me anyway...
I pulled away slowly...Shori was sweating a little...I had gone a little farther than usual. It was the moonlight...as it shown in through the curtains...I felt so....elated.... Scooting off of him, I allowed Shori to rise. He kneeled before me, staring straight into my eyes.
"Mei..." He lectured. "I told you not to make a mess..." Leaning in he licked the blood that had trickled down my chin all the way up to the edge of my mouth.
I smiled and stood up. Pulling him up in a swift motion, I shoved him against the wall near the bed. "Shori...it's your turn." I smirked and tilted my head to reveal my neck. "Drink up."
Shori's face grew intense...as it usually did when he was about to drink. He grabbed me by my shoulders and threw me onto the bed. I giggled a little as he leaned in and licked my neck fondly. Pulling away briefly, he looked me in the eyes again...then leaned back in for the bite. I closed my eyes slowly in anticipation. But instead of fangs...I felt the smoothness of his lips as they caressed my throat in a kiss.
"Sho...aren't you going to..."
"Not now Mei, you know as well as I...the Full Moon belongs to you." He whispered. "Let's just lie here for a bit...alright..."
"Yes..."
We remained there in a tight embrace...if only just for a bit...
A man entered the room, stunned. "You...you spilt blood here..." He commented under his breath as he stood in the doorway. We both stood up to meet this new person. He was dressed in the role of a butler...but he was a vampire. Not a pureblood though...even if he DID carry a similar scent to that Jezabelle woman....
"Just who ARE you?" Shori asked stepping forward before me.

I watched the mortal as he scanned the letter...as he walked...he seemed to hesitate as I lurked behind him stealthily.
"You don't have to do that, I know you are there." He spoke...I did not move. "Fine, we can play this all night then, its up to you." He shrugged.
Still...I did not come out. This was fun. I smirked as I watched him irritably shove the letter into his pocket and throw his bag over his shoulder. I edged in a little closer, knowing I was bugging him.
"I said come out! I'm not in the mood!" He shouted after such a short time.
I decided to end it...his foul look was a mood-killer...slowly I stepped out of the shadows. "No Hide-and-Seek for you huh?" I asked playfully.
He turned to face me...and I could hear him mumble a single word, "Vamp." My eyes narrowed a bit...that wasn't very polite...not at all.
"Yep, and you're a human..." I stated with a slight distaste. He turned his face to the side...and seemed to be completely and perfectly calm and stable...but I could feel it. His heart was pounding...so fast it threatened to burst from his chest. I could hear his blood pumping at an increased speed...smell his fear...no matter how hard he tried to hide it. I watched him closely...this was fun...like toying with a mouse. He slid his hands into his pockets very slowly, leaning back a little.
"Sorry to say, I really don't have time to deal with your kind...And I'd rather not have to kill right before school." He stated sliding the bag from his shoulder.
I was slightly confused...who had said ANYTHING about killing? "You kill?" I asked...if only to confirm whether he was a hunter or not.
"When I have to..." He responded. A good answer...after all...it's what we all did. He suddenly looked straight at me. "If you come within a hundred feet of me, I'll kill, But dang the paperwork I would have to do afterwards. Paperwork is worse than actually dying I would have to say..."
He commented so nonchalantly...acting as though he had experience in killing. I eyed him intensely wondering if it was all just that...an "act". As he watched me closely...I suddenly realized what this was. It WAS a mouse...cornered by a cat. He was speaking this way, only because he thought...he thought......
I started laughing...so loudly it echoed through the whole courtyard. I had to stop myself...to catch my breath...and then I spoke, to clarify. He was giving me a new expression...one filled with confusion of my behavior. "You think...that I want to...EAT YOU?!"
He was silent. But his face confirmed it...as though I could have no other purpose for singling him out...and cornering him.
"Foolish human...don't be so arrogant! As though I would sink so low as to drink from something so distasteful!" I scorned him. I could tell he was surprised...so I decided to impound if only just a little more. "I am a Noble vampire. I am NOT your "run of the mill" breed. I need ALOT more to please MY palette dear. A vampires thirst is only quenched by the blood of their 'loved one'. They can feed and feed and feed forever...it will keep them alive...but it will never be enough...not until they find their soul-mate. And once they have...they needn't EVER drink from anything else again." I smiled. "I am just so fortunate...that I HAVE found my 'one and only'. Therefore...I could care less for the blood or affairs of you lowly humans. I will not provoke or attack you...unless you attack me...or something I hold dear."
He seemed to lower his guard a bit...after realizing I hadn't come for his life...perhaps I put him at ease. I felt something...someone was watching...I didn't like it. Therefore...it was time to take my leave.
I appeared RIGHT BESIDE Eliot using just a bit of my speed. My mouth beside his ear I whispered..."My name is Shimei. I was only hoping to get a look at that letter of yours...but perhaps another time eh?"
A fierce wind blew all around...and then I was gone. I vaulted to the second story of the building before me, and ran a little way away from the scene. A slight chill ran through me thinking about who was watching...but I really didn't wanna let it bother me. Shori appeared beside me.
"Are you through already Mei?" He asked quietly.
I walked up behind him, and placed my head against his back sighing hard. "Now I'm bored Shori...he was no fun....no fun at all..."
Shori turned around and looked me deep in the eyes. "Don't worry Mei. Look. The moon has almost risen. I'm sure we can have MUCH more fun elsewhere...don't you?" Smiling with that devious grin of his, he managed to peak my interest and led me off...who knows where.

I watched as Skylar stalked off...he was moving at a slow enough pace...I could pursue and easily get the information from him. Sure, he seemed all mysterious and scary on the outside, but he didn't realize the depth of my curiosity, nor the power of my insightfulness and persuasive words. The more this thought rolled around in my mind, the more anxious my body became...I was practically ready to RUN off after him....
And then Shori grabbed me by the hand.
"Mei...do not follow him." He stated forcefully, looking me dead in the eyes.
I was captivated by them...his deep blue eyes...deeper than any ocean could possibly be. Eyes...eyes that had witnessed so much pain, so much grief...and yet...eyes that held such an intense love for me. A devotion...a promise to support and protect...I could not turn away.
"Please Mei, just trust me..."
I smiled and embraced him quickly. Looking up into his eyes, I said, "Sho...you know I trust you...if you don't want me to follow...I shan't. I won't even ask why..."
He returned my smile and seemed to hold on tight...I didn't want the moment to end. But it was unavoidable, as more steps neared our position. I peeked out from the side of Shori to find an angel...except...this angel had a black wing. Tainted perhaps? Intriguing...
He stopped dead in his tracks to stare at us. Slowly I pulled away from Shori to get a look at this new person. I scanned him up and down...my gaze falling into his bright blue eyes. They were nothing special next to Shori's...although...they seemed to have an angelic glimmer.
"A Good Evening to the both of you...I see students have begun to arrive already." He began as he approached. "Quite promptly. Commendable." He commented with a slight pause following. "Ahem, yes...my name is Raphael et Sinclair. I am a teacher here at Hano. Well met."
I raised one of my eyebrows...the way he spoke...so proper...he seemed more like a noble than I did half of the time. Yet, he intrigued me...and if I was ever to find out ANYTHING about that wing of his...I would have to play along. I bowed, somewhat, and greeted him. "Well met, Mister Sinclair. I am Shimei, of the Aoitsuki clan. I look forward to seeing you in class." I smiled....an obviously plastered on grin...but what the heck.
"Yes, Good Evening sir." Shori followed up. "I am Shori Benitsuki. Well Met."
Raphael seemed to smile with a slight sadistic pleasure...at least that's how I saw it. oxo "Very good. Well then, I won't keep you any longer. We all have things to attend to before classes start. It was nice to have seen you both. Do make sure you behave yourselves."
Before we could respond...he was gone. The tone of his voice...as though he thought we WOULDN'T behave. pfft! Whatever...
Grabbing Shori by the hand, I pulled him along in an attempt to continue our investigation of the grounds. And then I saw him...by his scent...he was blatantly human. The way he was gazing from the note in his hand to the building, it was as though he were trying to confirm something. Curious...nyaa....
Usually I really didn't care about ANYONE...but it must've been that full moon...slowly preparing to rise that night. Yes...that must've been it. For the full moon...always seemed to awaken that side of me...
Letting go of Shori's hand, I zeroed in on my new target and began the walk towards him. This human in the courtyard.

I couldn't believe the nerve of my parents...they had dared to send me abroad. To SCHOOL no less! Saying it was for my best interests. For me to learn the ways of our world...and the ways of other races in the process. Chh...like I even cared. I had all out refused, with absolutely NO intentions of giving in...until they also forced Shori to go. To this..."Hano Academy". A Four Race school with teachers of all species apparently...it's reputation far proceeded it. I suppose there was SOMETHING intriguing about its history...but that didn't mean I wanted to LIVE here! If only they hadn't forced Shori...I would NOT be here.
I couldn't stand to be parted from him. Not for one moment. My other...my Only...my Beloved. He was my one treasure in this life. So, if he would have to endure this hellish place called "school", then I would surely do it with him.
We had just arrived and while we weren't exactly astounded by the architecture(having both come from Rome...we'd seen some pretty magnificent structures), it was a decent place. It would serve it's intended purposes at least. The first stop we'd made was the dorms...
"I don't like the looks of this at all Shori...I'm sure we'll be split up..." I moaned as Shori examined the room.
"You don't have to worry Mei." Shori stated, turning to smile at me. "Rules were made to be broken, were they not? Besides, what those in charge don't KNOW won't hurt them, right?" He was standing by the window and seemed to nod in it's direction.
Catching the hint, I smiled widely. "Yes."
Quickly tiring of the surroundings, and knowing night was fast approaching, we decided to get out. It was sunset, but still...I felt the lust for night to come quicker pulse through my entire being. So caught up in this feeling...I didn't notice anything else around me. I felt my shoulder collide with another person...but as though nothing had happened, I continued on my way.
"You would be wise to apologize for that." A woman's voice seemed to growl from behind me. I stopped in my tracks and slowly turned around. Lifting my eyes to meet hers...I could tell immediately.: A pureblood. That explained the overwhelming arrogance in her tone. She'd probably been raised her whole life to think it was her duty to talk down to others. Not saying a word, I turned back around and started back on my way. I owed Nothing to her. "I said, it would be wise of you to apologize." She stated once more...I didn't pay her any mind, but felt her coming at me. I didn't flinch. And then, she was stopped. By Shori.
"And it would be wise that you don't do that." He spoke smoothly, yet with that forceful tone in his voice. A small smile crossed my lips hearing him speak in such a way, but I quickly withdrew it as I turned to meet the gaze of the Pureblood once more.
She yanked her wrist from him and smiled as she backed off. "My name is Jezabelle, i am a pureblood vampire. We shall meet again i am sure... but don't think i shall be so kind on either one of you. Good night."
As she walked off I couldn't help but Hiss at her. Acting all 'high-and-mighty'. As though she could possibly take on MY Shori...I turned to look up at him fondly. He was....my ONLY treasure...in this world....
"Thank you Shori." I smiled. "Can you believe the arrogance of that pureblood? Having to state she was such...as though we couldn't tell."
"Well, you know how the Purebloods are...they always have to point out just how BETTER they are than you." He smiled back laughing. "It took Clovis forever to get out of that phase too...which reminds me...he should be making his grand entrance anytime now. After all, he's pretty much in the same boat as us."
"Really?! Clovis is coming as well?!" I smiled with realization. "Maybe this place won't be so bad then..."
"Everything ok?" A voice spoke from a nearby doorway. We both turned to meet the gaze of a concerned young man with sparkling indigo eyes. I couldn't tell exactly what race he was just by looking at him. He looked like a simple human...and yet a power seemed to exude from deep within him. Yet still...it was too odd to place. As though it were being suppressed...and that glow in his eyes...I knew he wasn't human...I just knew it!
Before my curiosity could get the best of me, I turned and prepared to walk off without a single word...but I felt Shori's gaze on me. Sighing, I turned back to the mysterious man. "It's nothing to be concerned about...I don't know what you heard but to simplify, it was a Pureblood trying to claim their dominance. That's all."
"Thanks for the concern, but we're capable of taking care of ourselves." Shori smiled kindly. "You must be a student here too. My name is Shori Benitsuki. My companion here is Shimei Aoitsuki...you'll have to forgive her, she's not...very sociable." He seemed to giggle at the end of his comment.
"I don't see the point Shori!' I corrected. "Anyway...just what ARE you? You don't seem so easily read, and it's bugging me." I blurted out without hesitation. My curiosity won...perhaps this came from my love of cats. It would surely kill me one day...
