Keep moving

Clovis~
The bridge collapse under us and we both tried desperately to get a hold of something, but there was nothing. Then there Mariden got a hold of the ropes and grabbed my hand. He was trembling so hard and I hadn't seen so much fear in his eyes since I had met him. Was it so great that it made him forget he had wings...?

He then mutter out "I-I-If I'm g-going d-down, I'm t-takin' you w-with m-me."

I then looked at him seriously, for if we fell it could mean the end. "Listen to me..." I started "You need to calm down. If you don't then you might as well let go of the only thing keeping us form falling. Do you want to live?"He stood with out a word just staring. But I had a feeling he got what I said. After a bit he shakes his head then nodded in agreement. "Now Maridan, I need you to look up. Look at where we need to be and try to climb up."

"B-But what about y-you? I can't climb up holding you a-and such little rope...!" He side looking at the edge of the cliff.

"Don't worry about me!" I said sharply "Worry about yourself first! If I fall I will not die. I am a vampire after all, it takes more then that to kill me."

He didn't seem to move or even intended to any time soon. All I could think of doing was one thing. For him to get go of me...Hell t wouldn't be the first time it had happened to me.

"So then...Let me go."

"W-w-what?! No way! You can get killed!"

"Didn't you hear me before? I tolled you I won't die! I can try and grab on to the rocks and climb up, I've done it before." I explained.

"No! I wont!" He yelled.

"The I have no choice..." I reached and grabbed his hand and forced him let go. I fell pretty far down when I managed to get a hold of the rocky wall. Looking up at him I yelled out."See, I'm fine! Now climb up already!" And even tho it toke him a bit he did it. Then I came up quickly behind him. We rested for a bit then continued on to the village. Late and tried we finally arrived at the village. When we got there the Angel and a few other students had just left. And so we waited for more to come.
