hey guys, time for a real post!! lol
OMG! i've missed so much!! GOMEN NASAI!! *bows* ugh, i've been going crazy for these past two weeks, and i swear, by last wednsday sparks were flying between me and my parents; the reason i said before why i wasn't going to be able to get on alot (implying that i could sneak on) was that i thought my computer wasn't completely banned, just my comics which implyed that i had to have the computer downstairs. (see, for those that knew me, or remembered, around freshman year (two years ago) my mom found out that i was posting sorta kinda and told me i wasn't allowed back on, but she kinda not really forgot, so that's why i can't get on in front on them) but again, i thought i still had my computer. pfft, i thought wrong.
monday: i came home and was on my computer, she didn't say anything.
tuesday: i was FLIPPIN RECORDING OFFA AUDACITY AND DOING OTHER VARIOUS THINGs and she didn't say anything.
wednsday: i finished all of my homework early (and another punishment was i couldn't draw, which i did in school anyways) and so i decided to go on my computer to chat with my friend, and write my fanfiction. TWO HOURS GOES BY, and my mother looks at me and goes "catherine, why are you on the computer? I thought you weren't supposed to be on it?" i was like WTF?! we got into this whole big debate about what my mother said i could and couldn't do and it was just ridiculous, i wasn't even allowed to type fanfictions, but i could hand write them? what was w/that? i don't even understand their logic! and u know why all of this madness occured?
because i forgot a due date and i did the last quarter of a project the night before. OMG. i still turned it in, i still got a good grade, but they took away my drawing, my comics, and my computer for it. WHAT THE HELL?! i like don't even understand them anymore, i've stopped trying. it hurts my brain...
but on a lighter note
i should be uploading massive amounts of sketches to show that i did do some stuff, i'll color most of those later, but i really like a few of those that i did.
and my b-day, thanks so much to everyone that took the time to comment. lol mariel, did u post something about it (i guess i'll find out, ima going through my update list and just starting to go down! lol) cause i had lots of people comment! O_O (thanks, that was a good thing) but i was like..."do i know you?" lol it was funny. and thanks again for the e-card, you too stixx for the pm, *hugs massively to both of y'all* and avarice tears and andrea, just thanks so much!! *looks over at nicole, hugs teapot, then hugs nicole anyways*
o! and to answer mariel's question, i went to go see inkheart, which i would NOT recomend to anyone. especially if you read the book, it was like watching a really bad plot summary. the only good thing was that dustfinger was really cute, (in a weird sorta grungy way, if u like vigo mortesen from lord of the rings, and hildago, then u'll like this guy) but maggie (main character) was really....bad. i think this was her first time...doing ANYTHING relating to acting. it made me sad cause i thought the books were very well done.
but the harry potter movie looks pretty damn awesome. but it's sad, it'll be my last one...*sniff* I REFUSE TO SEE FRED DIE!!! lol
but as for what i got...
most of my b-day was spent on a plane ticket for spring break to go back to san antonio (that's where i moved from) and i'm going to hang out with my friends and bf for a WHOLE WEEK. *dances* i can't wait for april.
this was a pretty girly b-day actually, but they gave me money to buy lots of non girly things so it was all cool.
i got a new straightener, cause my old one is...weird, and it works great!
i also got a whole bunch of MAC (the makeup) hello kitty cosmetics which were actually really cute, it was basically the only makeup i wear (concealer, powder, eyeliner...) but with hello kitty on it. it was adorable!!
my bf sent me a t-shirt (i think he's going with a trend: jewlery for christmas, shirts for b-day...) it was the one from vgcats where leo link is being chased by a flock of angry cuckoos. my mother was like "wtf?" but my sisters and i got it. and...o, and my brother-in-law sent me some calalilies, which were pretty and he sent my oldersister (his wife) a whole bouquet of roses!! it was so pretty, he's in afaghnistan right now, so if anyone could send prayer his way, he would be appreciated, which is what leads me up to say what i wanted to say yesterday, but a day late is still just as good.
u never know when someone might leave, so if you do have someone you cherish, be it family member, bf, best friend, dog, cat, anyone, just give them a hug and appreciate them being there. cause i know my sister is going crazy right now, and even though my bf isn't in danger, i can't see him, so love those around you and don't take anything for granted.

hey guys, just a quick post, but i just wanted to let u guys know that i got grounded for a really dumb reason, so i can't draw and my computer is down stairs (and techincally i'm not supposed to be on here, for those of u that remember that ancient story) so i won't be on for about two weeks, i'll be here on and off, but not consistently, sorry guys!! does anyone (okay, and i hope this doesn't offend anyone, i'm completely A-OKAY with people liking yaoi, i have gay friends, not a homo-phobe, i just personally don't like, reading it...if u know what i mean) get angry cause the FREAKING BEST FAN ART IS YAOI?! TT0TT ugh, i was looking for hiruma pictures and there was like no good fanart of him and mamori, but there was freaking awesome looking pictures of him and sena (stylistically)! (which makes absolutely no sense! of all the people to pair him up with! that doesn't even make sense in yaoi terms!! at the very least pair him musashi (i think that's how u spell his name) or dreads or someone! gawd!) and i guess what is a bit, frustrating (since i'm a huge mamori hiruma fangirl) is that him and mamori is a pairing quite often hinted at throughout the manga, U WOULD THINK, that there would be more pictures/fanart with them (but alas no, and the ones i did find most of the time sucked, horribly, i love the pairing and i didn't think it was good....TT0TT) ugh, so frustrating...plus it didn't help that it was hard to find pictures of him anyways, cause most were either manga shots or screen shots from the anime (and i detest how they animated him, he looks like a freak half of the time, he's way hotter in the manga;)), and either people drew him really bad, or just...not recongnizable. so bleh, if anyone knows of any good sites for him PLEASE LET ME KNOW! lol
but on teh subject of yaoi, it's actually kinda funny, this morning i was hanging out with my friend (who kinda likes yaoi, but she's more of a shonen-aii kinda person) and she got a hold of my spanish paper where i had doodled all over the back, and she drew a shonen-ai picture, and i swear, the only thing i could think of was "guy love!" lol in a funny strange voice of course, i said it outloud and it was even funnier. lol i think my friend john is probably sneezing right about now. lol *hugs john*
o!! and i forgot almost the most important thing, i'm helping in creating an "apollo justice" musical, and right now we're in the production stage, i'm the composer if you will (one of) and we need a lyrics writer. BADLY. a few people have sent in stuff, but it hasn't been very good (they've kinda been like poems...and really choppy, hard to come up with stuff for that), so if u know ANYONE, or if any of you guys can write lyrics, we desperately need your help. if anyone is interested, please pm me with ur email so i can send u the script, i'm going to be advertising this around the site, and kinda hold like a mini competition so we'll pick the best person (i'm not judging that, so no has to worry about bias) for the job. thanks bunches.
