lol that's what kept me alive yesterday. cause my friend gave me a whole bunch of japanese music, and normally i don't like music i don't understand (apparently i'm weird like that?) but yesterday my parents made me go shopping (ugh!). i hate going shopping, cause then we get into arguments and why i don't like that girly trampy pink shirt with the sleeves in puffs. and see, my mom doesn't even like stuff like that, but she expects me to like stuff in the old ladies section?! i don't get her, and like, i don't understand i never go shopping, and she asks me what stores i wanna go to for "nice" clothes (aka implying that my usual hot topic or pac sun don't apply) and when i reply with that i don't know she gets furious (despite the fact that i truly don't know). but luckily i brought my ipod and i was listening to FLOW the entire time, i really like them!! their style is awesome! i really want to learn japanese so i can understand the other half of their stuff (i find i can pick out some sentences) the songs i have are "DAYS" "Journey" "Remember me" "Colors" "Your Song" and "Kaildoscope" for all of u naruto fans, they did the theme song "fighting dreamers". but back onto the shopping, i got a few things that i actually liked, and luckily even though they were tomboyish, my parents picked them out, so they can't complain! lol
i'm actually trying to memorize a japanese song that me and my singing friend want to do. it's one from tsubasa called "yume no tsubasa" and it's really hard to memorize japanese songs!! i've got about half of it down. *sigh* sftill half to go! lol
sorry i haven't posted many drawings lately, i've done alot of doodles. i need to color or finish them!! lol
o! and i finally got a skype for those of u that know what it is, i finally convinced my parents of it! *dances* it's like an internet phone. it's pretty cool.

well today is the day of a new president...not sure if that's a good thing quite yet, but i do wish him the best of luck, i certainly pray that nothing hinders him, but i will honestly say i would've voted for the other guy (personally i would elect chuck norris for president if i could pick anyone lol) but on more important matters...
i'm thinking of changing my site (AGAIN!) to phoenix wright, i have lots of pictures now (i'm such a fanatic, i think it's becoming unhealthy...) but yah...
o! i just finished reading peach girl in a matter of five hours, excellent story (thanks andrea!), i never could guess who she was going to stay with, but i was rooting for kiley the entire time. momo was a great character for the most part until the end, i thought she became the typically shojo heroine, and that depressed me a little bit. sae had a wonderful character development, i love how she made kinda like a 360, and that entertained me. (i think shojo manga is becoming unhealthy as well, it toys with my emotions!! lol but seriously, if something goes bad i start slapping my leg and digging my nails into it!! O_O but then again...the same thing happens when i read other manga so maybe it's manga that unhealthy!!! o dear, that can't do...(it's like when i read tsubasa and stuff was going with fai, i was going BALLISTIC! i almost screamed at people who were trying to talk to me...but what can i say? he's my baby lol))
um...what else is new?
o yea! my birthday is coming up!! i'll be 17!!! O_O as of feb 14 at least!! XP i'm not sure how i feel about that, it's so odd, getting older, i can remember my freshman year!(i can remeber being excited about turning 14 because that was the same age as yusuke! lol i'm such a freak) i will say though, it kinda scares me that i'll be an adult in one more year! very scary indeed...
and i finished the manga!! i just have to upload it (for some reason it wasn't letting me from this computer, it kept telling me that i needed to upload a file when i clearly had a file selected...nyo...? very odd indeed) hopefully i can get it up.
o, and i think i'll try to watch "the melochaly of haruhi..." yah i can't spell for crap, so i know i spelled everything wrong, but i tried reading the manga and i just didn't like it, but everyone said that the anime was better, so i'll try it. (but i'm gonna watch in japanese despite my dub loving, just because everyone said it was better and that it didn't skip around as much)
o! (why do i keep typing "o"??) and mariel, here's the pimp costumes of luffy and them that i was talking about!! i think they look awesome, especially luffy, lol i love his parrot! ;P

hey guys! well, another week has gone by for me, and it's a bit...rough. school seems to be getting harder and harder, but the good news is that there's a sequential art competition for graphic arts (aka a comic contest) and my teacher asked me to be in it. so that's what i'm working on; it's only seven pages long with a cover, and i just started thumbnails, so hopefully it'll look good. i'll post it when i'm done. i've got until next friday, so wish me luck.
o, and remeber about that whole phoenix wright musical thing? well, unfortuntately there was some *cough alot cough* favortism involved in the picking, and my friend didn't get picked (which is a shame, she really can sing and act well) and only the people in the original group that formed got main roles. well, my friend and a few others wanted to start an "apollo justice musical" and she asked me to help with the composing of the melelodies and lyrics, along with maybe a singing role (there aren't very many female roles in the game, but we're thinking olga for right now). but i just thought it was cool that she asked me to do that, (it was because there was a song without music or anyone singing it, just lyrics and i came up with a tune for it and she really liked it) so i'm happy.
and i have a debat with my bf, so help me out. i know green day has a bit of an unusual voice, but he doesn't sound like he's holding his nose while singing does he? (i've listened to new found glory for so long, i think they sound like they're sick with a cold) so yah, if y'all can help me out with that.
o, and on an anime related topic, i finished reading "hana yori dango" a few days ago, which is for some basically "boys over flowers". it was a "love-hate" story for me. i loved the characters, domyoji was hilarious and loveable, and mikano was pretty energetic (but there were moments where i despised her) and rui was just great, he started off as a character i hated, but grew into this loveable funny guy. and the rest of them too, what i didn't like was there was periods of time where "i love you!" then the next minute "i hate you!" and there were tons of cliches, but my only defense for that is the fact that it was done in the early 90's, the eve really of shojo manga, so i think it was one of those that helped establish those cliches, but yah...
if you like shojo, i suggest you read it, but it's really long (242 chapters) and there are parts that are just depressing. so...if you like soap operas, you'll love it! lol

hey guys!! well, merry christmas if i haven't told y'all already. ^^
i really didn't get a whole lot this year, on account of the fact that i got a laptop!! *gasp* i didn't expect that from my family, but apparently i use the other computer too much, and the other OOOOOLD laptop i fight with my sister for, so they got us new laptops to stop the bickering...but that's all i got. lol (my older sister bought me a hello kitty case to put it in...and my younger sister got me two comic books...) o! and my bf got me a pair of earings, they're so pretty! (i'll upload some pictures of them later...hopefully!) (and how could i forget? i finally got super smash brother brawl! omg, i've been playing it for hours!! lol)
i feel so guilty lately tho (well, not really, i guess "tired" is the more appropiate word), i've been up on the phone until like three in the morning! O_O i've never done that before, but i can't help it, i miss my bf so much!! TT_TT but my mother proceeds to wake me up at like eight in the morning, and i can't exactly tell her i've been up all night, so it's a bit...icky...
i got glasses again yesterday. i've been wearing contacts for the past year and a half, but now since i don't feel the need to impress anybody, i just went ahead and got some glasses, (that and because i'm LAZY! there's the shikamaru in me for ya). they're...okay, i personally don't like the way i look in them (but that would imply that i like the way i look to begin with).
but on a happier note, i've been diligantly working on a phoenix wright doujin, which i think i'll actually complete *le gasp* i've already sketched out 8 pages, 15 thumbnails, and have two pages complete, with one inked page left to tone. i'll upload it on here once i have the eight pages all inked and toned with a cover page (maybe by sunday?)
