I know this is a [crappy] title for something like this; but whatever, I had to say it.
So I've been noticing lately that people have said they "love" someone. Now love is all fine and all and it can be a wonderful feeling. However, I'm beginning to realize that "love" has lost it's meaning- somewhat (I don't know the word for this here). When you love someone, it's not because you think the same and like the same things- there are a lot of people who have the same interests as you. When someone says they love someone, it can be nice....but is it really love? Sure you can have all the fuzziness and the "ooh I have a bf/gf!" stuff and you think that person is awesome. But love is definently not something that can be felt within a week or month- I mean you basically just met the person. What happens when all the "love dust" dies down and you begin to see how the person really is? I feel that it takes at least a year (I said at least, it usually takes more) to really begin to know someone; then you can profess love.
This is meant for a certain someone (you know who you are) who I think needs to know this.
