Welcome Back! (Well before I leave for the summer)

HUZZAH!
Well I went to South Dakota on Wednesday. It was fun. We stayed until Friday (i guess) and we got in at like 10 Friday night. It took a long time to get there, like 8 hours. My family and I saw Mt. Rushmore. It. was. awesome. I saw some goats too! Although South Dakota I must say is full of farms and stuff. ^_^; But yeah it was fun, although pine beatles are eating up the innards (lol) of the pine trees. It looks really bad. But it's good that I read that Silent Spring book. By building stuff we probably killed off the things that ate the beatles so we gotta resort to sterilization (basically makes that species extinct). Back on topic here. So yeah Mt. Rushmore was cool...BUT we did see an even COOLER monument...or sculpture. It's going to be the biggest sculpture in the world and it's not even done yet (actually only the head is). Oh wait I didn't even say the name. I'm sorry, it's called Crazy Horse. It's dedicated to a Native American who wouldn't sign a treaty and under a flag of truce literally got stabbed in the back. We also went to a muesum, it was very interesting. Basically, the Crazy Horse monument PWNED Mt. Rushmore. We saw some cows and llamas and gazelles and more cows. Hm, on our way back we went to McDonald's. Worst experience I've ever had at McDonald's. We walked in and someone said "Here come the blacks." And I was like hurt you know.....not cool AT ALL. *facepalms* Anyway yeah so I'm not going to talk about that because it sucked. Oh yeah we rented a minivan. It pwned. It's so much room! I'm on my last assignment of the 9th grade. =D After this (5 page fairy tale modeled after the stories of Oscar Wilde) I'm officially done with 9th grade. Yes! Oh yeah, I'm going to be leaving next week. So I've already deleted the ENTIRE picture folder. ;-; *sniffles* I gotta delete everything but Quest and Internet Explorer. I will be back on sometimes when we go to the library though....so yeah, just keep that in mind. ^_^
