Okay, y'all. I'm here with Zaphea (aka kagurasohma621) and we both agree that this place has recently been in decline. More and more people are signing up and never coming back. Quizes have dropped in quality, and the good ones have gotten old. The Quiz Slam was great, but the Guru (we think) has dropped his/her standards. Cards aren't as funney, and fan art isn't as original. Wallpapers are cool, but not something people actually put as their backrounds. The same fan word was at the top of the list for about a month. Worst of all is the WORLD qualities. More specifically, the RPs.
Recently, most worlds have been for random fanfiction and personal life. Some were for video games, help, rants, ect. When Zaphea-chan first joined, there were 20 bazillion RPs to join. Many large ones. Ones like the Poke Gijinka Revolution and Shinigami Academy are now (looking at Naomi Bear's Tokyo Mew Mew one specifically). Now those clubs have dropped. Good RPs are hard to find, and when you do find them, they are far into the story. Some good ones never take off, or die quickly. Some of this is due to people who join and then don't even look back at the club. One person introduces a new person, or tries to talk to someone who never responds, and it never moves on. Some rps start off really well, then the ideas run out, or one person goes too far, and it all swirls down a cliff and blows up at the bottom. We've also noticed the decline of god-modds (when you talk for another person's OC). God-modds are okay as long as you don't make anyone act out of character. Sadly, this causes the wait of a lifetime for a responce, and you end up with short, less than a paragraph posts.
This is our request for all of you reading this. Go make an RP, or join a small one. Something that catches attention. And we don't mean the big ones like Poke Gijinka Rev or Teh Biju Club (unless your making one.) Go find some one unknown, like me, moonsailor-chan, dialga99-kun, or anyone else and help them start up their RPs. We want to see world quality and RP quality go up. If you plan to join an RP, but you know you'll never look at it again, then don't sign up! If you don't know how to RP, JUST ASK SOMEONE!!!! If you see that other users are guest posting, but you don't have status, REMIND THE OWNER! And owners! Don't ignore your own RPs! If they get popular, keep a check on them! I know you get alerts on your own worlds, but it's your responsibility to check them!
From now untill 2010, I will award any new RPs with a gift! Tell me through comment or PM about them, and expect your gift to come soon! Don't tell me about big existing ones. Those don't count. Everyone needs to help! JOIN IN THE RP REVIVAL!!!
