Hospitalization

For those who have not read the introduction to this world, this is purely from Kyra (the creators)'s point of view and not Satomi's. If you want a post from Satomi's point of view, sorry bud, you're going to have to wait.

We all know roleplaying is broody. No where else in literature would I let my character sit and mope about things that happened five years ago. And one of the best places to brood is in/beside a hospital bed. Trust me, in some of my roleplays with my friends about every third time it includes a hospital bed someway, somehow. Here's the catch - you have to have someone next to your hospital bed to be able to do any real brooding.

Since most of other roleplay characters involved here enjoy wandering the streets more than visiting your friends, than y'all have no excuse. ...Okay, Mamoru and Kimiko have good reasons, but where's Naruto and Sasuke? The girl whom you almost killed because she was smoking is now in the hospital, and what are you doing?I'm talking characters, not people. I know Sasuke's busy, and Naruto's just... being Naruto.

And of course, an injury is an injury. I'm not sure how long I want to drag out the hospital-bed-ridden part, but I'm at least 95% sure I want her in a wheelchair by Christmas. Or Christmas eve. Something like that. Of course, there might be lasting issues... should there be lasting issues? If so, I would want to do something that could hinder her, but not to the point that she couldn't be a ninja. Something like if-she-runs-too-long-her-leg-seriously-starts-hurting, nothing like hahaha-you-can't-move-your-legs-anymore-you-paraplegic. What do you think, the few who actually read this post?

...sorry, I glanced over at the Chatzy and read "I saw the light fade from Keisuke's eyes. I don't want to watch it fade from yours, too" (Kimiko) and started to tear up. GAH, STUPID BROODING

And lastly, the one who put here there...Keisuke. What does Satomi think about it? What I think about it? I think Keisuke is the biggest d*ck there is. His attitude of "Oh, yeah, I almost killed a 13-year-old who was supposedly, but I'm don't care (or at least pretend I don't)" Granted there is the brooding factor, which'll manipulate characters like they're putty because this is a roleplay (duh), but if something like that happened in real life I wouldn't care what that man's past was, I'd be absolutely livid.

Satomi... well, she blames herself for what happened like half the characters here, but not in the sensible I-was-an-idiot-I-shouldn't-have-confronted-him-when-he-was-that-pissed (in other words, I-should've-been-smart-and-done-what-Moru-did), but in the whole I-should-have-been-able-to-say-something-to-make-him-stop. She still undeniably cares about him, but isn't exactly in the position to skip over and him, and confess her deepest cares about him. The only way she's seeing him right now is if he go visits her at the hospital, and the chances of that range from HAHAHA-no to PFFF-as-if.

Bonus confession: Usually when dramatic things like this happen in a roleplay, I go searching the high heavens for a song to match. But after searching the deep recesses of my brain for a song, the best thing I can come up with is "I Love the Way You Lie Part 2", which is pretty funny, because it's a love song, and no way would Keisuke and Satomi get into a relationship like that. The lyrics themselves barely match up to what's going on in the roleplay - the best I can come up with is "On the first page of our story/the future seemed so bright/then this thing turned out so evil/I don't know I'm still surprised" Because, admittedly, Keisuke and Satomi did have a good friendship before Keisuke's brooding came to the forefront. The rest, I'd have to say, is in what's being conveyed in the song itself - undeniably caring for a person when you want to beat the crap out of them at the same time. That's Satomi's feelings in a nutshell.
