Silence of the night...long fingers sliding on a control board...corridors sliding in and out of place...
Orihime was sleeping in the darkness of the room, the only light coming in through the window was from the Hueco Mundo moon. A hand suddenly covered her mouth as she suddenly woke up. Gleaming blue eyes, silver hair flashing in the moonlight. It was Ichimaru Gin. Orihime's eyes widened as he whispered.
"You will be gettin' out of Las Noches tonight. Make a single noise and I can kill you so creatively everyone will think ya committed suicide" he threatened as he stared into her eyes at close range.
Orihime didn't know how to react to this, she was afraid, but not defiant. She felt the need to escape his grasp until he said she was leaving Las Noches. Her heart jumped. She was leaving. She would see Ichigo again. And Rukia, and Uryu, and Chad...and yet, there was hesitation as well. Because she had forsaken everything for a goal she'd set for herself. Her goal to 'destroy the hyogoku'. She shook her head back and forth, but didn't dare speak...knowing his threat was real.
His hand lifted from her mouth as he sat up. He grabbed her wrist as he got her up from the bed as well.
"Go get dressed" he hissed at her not wanting anything to look suspicious.
It was risky enough he was doing this, he wanted it to be perfect.
Orihime's brow's furrowed as she pulled her wrist out of his grasp. Looking at him, she stood perfectly still, making no move to get dressed. "W-Why are you helping me?!" She asked, her voice low but fierce and curious.
He whipped his head at her with a glare only he could manage as he said. "Don't think too much of yerself, girl. I'm not doin' this for you. Now get dressed already or else ya'll be ending up in the real world in pieces!"
Orihime jumped at his words as they rolled off his tongue in sharp spikes. She winced at the glare he gave her, but she held steady. Her hand on over her heart, she dared press the issue. "I believe you..." She managed. "I don't know who asked you to help me, but tell them to forget about me and leave it alone." She said. "I...can't leave Las Noches. Not Yet..."
Gin's eyes widened a bit in shock that she had even dared to utter those thoughts. In a second he was next to her, his long fingers around her fragile neck.
"Listen here, girl" he growled at her. "Yer the reason for all this trouble. I don't care what ya want, right now you've got no choice. But I can see yer tiny little brain can't grasp the concept. Well, let me make it easier for ya to decide" he said as an evil grin appeared on his face. "Either ya stay here and be killed by my hands or get the hell out of here and do as whatever yer pathetic little mind wants" he said, his grip tightening around her neck.
Orihime closed her eyes, tears began to form and fall as she tried to disguise the reason as to why she couldn't leave. "I-I want to go. I want to escape." She finally cried. "But if I go...then I'm being selfish! Only I can do this!"
"You? What could you ever possibly do in here?" he huffed in a displeased tone.
Things weren't going as fast as he wanted them to go.
Orihime attempted to turn her head. She struggled a bit in his grasp. She couldn't tell him...he was the enemy. He wouldn't understand.
Gin glared at her as he hissed. "Don't make me laugh" he said as he threw her on the floor. "Now get dressed already. I'm starting to lose my patience."
Orihime pushed herself up off the ground, and stood. "I'm telling you...you need to go. I can't leave." She spoke defiantly. "I...I'll call for Ulquiorra."
Gin smiled as he walked towards her slowly. From a distance Orihime thought for a second his blue eyes flashed red. "One...only one person in this castle can tell me what to do and it isn't you," he said as he slowly waked towards her," two...call all ya want, he ain't gonna hear ya, he's too busy right now with a certain someone...and three...I haven't killed in a while and I'm dying to do it" he said with a grin that looked like the one of a demon about to claim his prey.
Orihime sucked in her breath, not releasing it. She was going to die here, but then again, she'd already resigned herself to that. Tears streamed down her cheeks with the utter futility of the situation she was in. She was bound to her place, out of sheer stubbornness, and utter fear.
"Aren't ya gonna say anythin'?" he said, his malicious grin wide on his face as he leaned in, their eyes inches apart.
She began to shake slightly, she tried to avoid his eyes...those glaring blue eyes piercing straight through her.
He tilted his head to the side as he continued to stare at her, grinning like the devil himself.
"Fine then, I'll just have to include this into my plan" he grinned as he grabbed her wrist and pulled her with him as he flash stepped through Las Noches.
When they stopped they were outside, in the barren desert of Hueco Mundo. He opened a gate and dragged her through. Before she knew it she was in Karakura town again as the gate closed behind them.
Orihime cried with joy seeing her home again. She never realized how much she would miss it, until she thought she'd never see it again. And yet, this meant she had failed. She failed everyone. Her tears turned from ones of joy, to sadness. Slowly she slipped from his grasp, falling to her knees in despair.
He grabbed her arm and pulled her up again as he glared into her eyes again.
"Listen here, girl," he hissed at her, "you will go back. And you will tell everyone and anyone that you don't know how you ended up here. You will have no memory of what happened, am I understood?" he said reciting his last words slowly.
Orihime nodded, saying nothing as she tried to stop her crying.
"Good" he said.
In a flash, he knocked her out with just one move as she slowly fell onto her knees then onto the soft grass, unconscious. He opened another gate and stepped through it, not before he gave Orihime one last glare.
That was it, Orihime saw nothing but darkness. Her tears slid down her cheeks as she lay there unconscious.
CONTINUED IN KARAKURA TOWN...
