nothing is as we think it seems
see the tiny bird,
sitting outside your window.
you think it so sweet,
not a thought for it's survival,
the next day you find it eating worms,
and think nothing of it.
the bird lives like everything else,
it kills without thought,
and steals when it must.
it's just as currupt as we think ourselves,
not quite as cute as we imagine.
an evil monster in the dark for some,
creatures much different from us.
now look at the cat,
a well known pet,
widely accepted.
the cat kills the bird,
becoming the bird's worst nightmare,
the bird's victim's savior.
even what we consider the most innocent creature of all,
is not without blood on thier name.
most nothing is as we think it seems.
