New York companies consider multiple sites for gaming properties

New York State is about to get three commercial casino licenses, and NYC developers and game operators are already looking for possible locations. Potential locations currently under discussion include Times Square and Hudson's Yards, while Willett Point in Queens and Coney Island in Brooklyn are also talking about possible casino properties.

The New York State Legislature officially included fast-tracking of three Downstate Casino licenses in this year's budget. This allows you to deploy three licenses at least a year ago. Eric Adams, the mayor of the Big Apple, said he would like to see at least two commercial licenses in the city.

Related companies in Hudson Yards, real estate brands like Vornado and SL Green in Times Square are interested parties looking to bring casino properties to their region. Together with Hard Rock, Sands and Win, they worked with gaming giants to reinvigorate stadiums and put forward preliminary plans to Gov. Kathy Hochul and other state officials.

Representatives of the companies involved have already met with city officials to discuss plans for a potential casino on the far West Side. The company is a major developer of Hudson Yards, and spokesperson John Weinstein said the real estate giant is currently considering options for a potential gambling site in Manhattan.

Thor Equities is also one of the stakeholders, and he wants to build a commercial gaming facility on Coney Island. In an interview on Sunday, entrepreneur John Katzmatidis and the owner said Casino Amenitidis would be a good addition to Coney Island and Brooklyn, because in his opinion it would bring a lot of vitality to the borough. 홀짜게임

Casino leader Hard Rock has already shown a desire to be a part of the New York (NYC) gaming project. Company lobbyists have already met with City Hall chief of staff Frank Caron to discuss the development of the casino property. And along with Cohen from the Mets, they have presented plans for the Willett Point casino, which is easily accessible via Subway Line 7, the Long Island Railway, the Grand Central Parkway, and the Long Island Highway.

Well, it's not easy.
However, when it comes to the three commercial licenses mentioned above, the aforementioned companies will compete a lot. Currently, two existing gaming facilities are considered to be polarized: Gensing America Resort in Queens, World New York City, and Empire City Casino in Yonkers, at MGM Resort. If both companies are selected as licenses, the rest of the companies will have to compete for the remaining licenses.

However, some Manhattan residents don't like introducing casino properties in the borough. Previously, some residents of Kip Bay were against such projects. Diane Liotta said she's not willing to roll the dice because casino properties close to her home could attract suspicious figures.
