Call of Duty Black Ops 2

Alright first off I only learned a few things about black ops 2 but still ^_^. First off the demo took place in Los Angeles in the year 2025. So as you can image it has futuristic weapons.

The main character is the son of the character from black ops 1. During the demo the mission was to protect the president of the untied states. All of the technology closely resembles Ghost recon: future soldiers tech. So apparently everyone is moving into the future with shooters, but not into Science fiction.

Sorry there were to many people in the way so I only got to play for like 3 minutes but I will post the press conference video ^_^

Splinter Cell Blacklist

Alright as you may or may not know I go to E3 every year and today was the first day of it. So I am going to talk about Splinter Cell Blacklist. First off blacklist takes place after conviction. 4th echelon has been established to replace 3rd echelon. Sam Fisher is in charge of 4th echelon, a government organization with the security clearance of delta, DEV/GRU, or SAD.

Blacklist runs off the same system as conviction, so you can engage targets in firefights without sentencing yourself to death. this time its has a moving execute sequence which will keep you mobile even while using mark and execute. Being the leader also allows you to call in close air support, which is pretty cool.

Something everyone should know, Michael Ironside did not do the voice of Sam Fisher in this new game. He has been Sam's voice actor since the first one 10 years ago. I asked why he didn't, but never got my answer. Look for Splinter Cell Blacklist in spring of 2013.

One time we were searching a neighborhood for a target. Vice and Marcus were arguing about Al-Qaeda, Vice was saying even with outdated AKs, we are still in danger of being ambushed. Marcus looks at Vice and says "Vice, there is no mother fucking terrorist on the planet that can shoot worth a shit". Next thing we see is a bullet pass right by his head. So we all get to cover, Vice looks at Marcus and says "what about that one bitch" and we all started laughing, even though we were being shot at.

Marcus looks at Vice and says "if he's such a great shot, why did he miss", Vice replied "why don't you stick your head out and let him try again", of course Marcus's response was "fuck that". So we tried to move around the sniper, to kill him of course, but he left after awhile, we never did actually find him. Marcus says "oh, one of them can shoot and that makes them all bad asses all the sudden huh", then they went back to arguing lol.

One time we were investigating a car that a target was supposed to be in, when we got to the car we found out it was rigged with a time bomb, so of course we ran and the bomb went off, the concussive wave blew me through the wind shield of another car. I looked in the back seat and there was another IED in it, I was like oh this is some old bull shit right here lol.

So I pulled my sidearm and shot the hinges of the door and kicked it off the car. Not until after I did that did I remember that those types of IEDs can be set off by timer, remote or pressure plates. Pressure plates like the one I could have just kicked that door onto. I was just like fuck me lol. So we called EOD to take care of the bomb and sweep the highway because seriously 2 car bombs less than 150 yards of each other, come on now. So after giving the GPS coordinates we continued to hunt for the original target.
