Kang is my older brother, and the closest friend I have ever had. I trust him more than anyone else in the world. We are the exact same, but completely different at the same time. Both of us are soldiers he is a Navy SEAL, I am an ex-Delta Force operator gone Defense Contractor. But as I said we are the same, but complete paragons.
I fight only to protect those I care about, even if it costs me my life, even if it means I have to take lives of others. I will give anything to protect what I hold dear. I don't regret what I do or what I did in the past. Kang is a soldier of chaos, he enjoys the battlefield, more than anything. Theirs is no need to sugar coat what we are, we take lives without a second thought.
Just like me, Kang knows what war is truly like. We fought together in Iraq, we may have been from different branches of the military,. Both of us have different reasons for fighting, different talents, I am a CQC expert, he is a Sniper. but we are the same, we're both Special Forces.
We both have blood on our hands and have bled to protect each other. We are blood brothers, maybe not biologically, but we are closer then they are. Every time I am in trouble he comes to my rescue and vise versa. We protect each other we need no reason and have no fear, I fight to protect, he fights for the sake of fighting. Like I said different but at the same time the exact same.
We believe in each other more than anything. I do not believe it's possible for him to let me down, I believe he would say the same thing about me. Since we were in the 3rd grade we have been protecting each other. A few months after I moved into my house, before I got my daughter. He came over, it was just me and him, talking and hanging out. It was actually about 2 months after I left the site, some unwanted guests invited themselves into my house. There were 5 of them, they never stood a chance against just the 2 of us.
As I said, the last thing I saw before passing out from my interrogation was his face, it was also the first thing I saw when I woke up. Watching each others backs is all we have ever done in war or not. Kang is the closest family member I have.
