My Beloved Combat Blades :D

I did an entire post over my beloved Five-Seven, but I mentioned 3 other weapons I was not willing to part with, I always have at least 2 of them on me, no matter were I am, and all 4 on the battlefield. I would sooner leave my rifle home than these 4 weapons ^_^.

This one is my multi-purpose tool, my Entrenching or E-tool for short, believe it or not, the least useful function of this tool to me was used for digging. No I had quite a different use, as a combat weapon. This thing is heavy enough and if sharpened properly, sharp enough to cut clean through flesh and bone >:). Never gone to battle without my E-tool.

this is my old tomahawk, that I've had for years...It broke the other day v_v

This is the new one I should get in the mail today :)

Alright, I doubt I have to explain what a tomahawk is, or is used for...at least I hope not >_>. Tomahawks are very important to American Special Forces, not only as a CQC weapon but because of our history. Apache Indians were believed to be the very first American special forces ever and are the backbone of our guerrilla style fighting tactics. This being the case, spec ops carry tomahawks into battle to ask for the blessings of our country's ancestors. I bring it for one more reason. The enemy sometimes moves just far enough out of my reach to use a gun or to where I can't hit them with my CQC weapons. So to concentrate on the other enemies I am still dealing with, I use my tomahawk as a projectile to nullify that threat until I can retrieve it without having to draw my gun and leave myself open to attack.

Last but far from least is my favorite of all my combat blades, my Tiger Karambit Knife from cold steel, this and my Five-Seven are with me no matter where I go. A little backgound on it first, then I'll give you the details about mine ^_^. These are weapons widely used in Indonesia. They have become very popular in the US over the last several years. They are a vicious weapon to be sure! looking like a tiger's claw. It does take time to learn the techniques for proper use. They are held with the blade reversed behind your hand and used to slash then stab on a counter direction blow. Mine is one is made by cold steel it has a AUS 8A Stainless, a high carbon, low chromium steel blade that is 4.75 inchs long. With a 5 inch handle made with deeply checkered Kraton material, that has been molded directly to the blade tang. Check your local laws before carrying one of these. Seriously guys, I need a permit to have this knife in Los Angeles, because it's only meant for combat.
