Resurrection:

It was late afternoon and Ulquiorra, again, was leading Kita out to the sands of Hueco Mundo. It had been another week and a half for Kita in her training. Finally, her second stage release was to Ulquiorra’s liking. Thus in it growing stronger, so did her first release as well as her. Kita’s reiatsu had increased exponentially causing her to surpass most of the fraccion’s in Aizen’s army.

“Today we work on your resurrection.” Ulquiorra told her as they walked out the gate of the palace.

“You believe I am ready for that, Master?”

“You are past the point of being ready. Your reiatsu has increased exponentially in the last week.” Ulquiorra stopped in the middle of the desert, turning to look at his fraccion. “You have surpassed the Fifth’s two fraccion’s in strength, speed, and power. Only a month and a half has passed.” He fell silent for a brief second before sliding his gaze over her. “I am pleased with your progress, Kita. You are the fraccion I always knew you could be.”

Pride swelled in Kita's chest as Ulquiorra told her this. A smile spread across her lips and she bowed her head. “Thank you, Master. I will only grow stronger from this day forward so I may protect you and fight for Lord Aizen.”

Ulquiorra nodded, stepping behind her. “Call your zanpakuto and show me your resurrection, Kita.”

Kita dutifully stepped away from her master. Neither she or Ulquiorra knew what to expect when Kita called forth her final release. So they gave way to any and all possibilities. Drawing her zanpakuto and holding it parallel with the horizon, she concentrated only on her release. Kita closed her eyes for a brief second then opened them. Her eyes glowing a bright blue.

“Rage, Fuego Garra!” Kita called out.

Her blade vanished and Kita found herself on all fours. She was twice the size of a bengal tiger her body concealed in an ivory colored armor and her body consumed in blue flames. Her tail whipped behind her as she turned looking at Ulquiorra. He stepped forward reaching out to touch the flames that dances across her form. Quickly he drew back his hand and took a step back.

“Can you control the temperature of the flames?” He asked her.

Kita nodded and made the flames hotter. Ulquiorra sprung back raising his arm to conceal his face from the raging heat that came forth from her.

“I meant dispose of them.” Ulquiorra informed her.

Kita laughed to herself with a quick nod of her head and called the flames back making them disappear completely. Ulquiorra nodded and stepped forward once more.

“I want to see what you are capable of in this form.” He brushed past her. “Follow me.”

Ulquiorra sonido’ed off. “Keep up.”

Kita took off after him; however, she did not stay behind him or beside him. She was running around him in circles. When she got bored with doing that she got in front of him and zig zagged around. Her next show of speed was when Ulquiorra grew tired of her showing off and he fired balas at her as she ran in front of him. Kita escaped each blast with ease he he sent them toward her. The two finally stopped when they arrived at the Forest of Menos’.

“Go feed and become stronger. I will not be far behind. Examining what abilities you need to work on.”

Kita nodded and bolted into the forest. Screaming, howling and cries of the hollows that Kita attacked poured from the forest as she ravaged any hollow that dared to get in her way. Ulquiorra watched as she clawed, bit, tore and even incinerated, her way through each of the hollows she fought. One attack in particular caught Ulquiorra’s eye. It was a simple enough attack, but highly efficient and one that allowed Kita to attack more than one opponent at a time. It was an attack of shear strength, speed and her element of fire. He watched Kita accomplish this attack several times as hordes of hollows attacked the stronger arrancar that dare to enter their forest. With every kill Ulquiorra felt her growing stronger and faster, watching as each kill created a fraccion he was proud to have at his side.

“Kita.” Ulquiorra called to her as she hit a Adjuchas-class hollow with her massive paw of claws and flames.

The Adjuchas fell to the forest floor in four pieces as her razor sharp flaming claws sliced through him like hot butter. She quickly devoured him making him the fifth Adjuchas she had killed in the forest that day, among the many others hollows she had killed and devoured. When she was finished she looked her masters way.

“I have seen enough. Let us return to Las Noches.” He told her. “Return your zanpakuto to its sheath.” He turned and started walking back.

Kita did as she was told and quickly caught up with her master. On their return walk to Las Noches it was quiet between the two when Kita finally broke the silence.

“Master? Did I do something wrong while I was fighting in the forest?”

“No.”

“Was there anything I needed training with to improve on?”

“No. Your training is complete.”

Kita stopped in her tracks as she watched her master walk on. “It’s complete? Does he think I am strong enough at my current power level? Will Lord Aizen think and feel the same way?” She thought to herself as her mind wandered freely in thought.

Ulquiorra had gotten a few yards ahead of her when she heard him call out to her. “Kita, what is wrong?”

When she snapped out of her thoughts she noticed Ulquiorra had stopped walking and was turned looking at her.

“Are you ill?” He asked her.

She shook her head looking at him. “No. I am not ill and I do not mean to question your judgment--”

Ulquiorra cut her off has he turned walking away once more. “Then dont.”

“But, Master, do you really think my training is complete?” Kita questioned anyway as she ran up behind him.

“One is never completely trained. You learn throughout your life; however, I have taught you all that I can. Your powers are your own. You will have to train and learn them on your own. The abilities, strategy and strength you projected in your fights in which I witnessed is sufficient and you could stand against a lieutenant class soul reaper without problem.” Ulquiorra stopped abruptly in front of her causing Kita to almost run into him when he did. He gave her a side glance. “However Kita; do not become stagnant with your powers and abilities. Always strive for more and always push forward to obtain the greater power.” He looked forward once more taking a step. “You have it in you to be more than what you are now.” At that Ulquiorra walked off leaving Kita there to ponder his words.

Finally, after a few moments, Kita shook her head and dart off to catch up with her master which was quite a distance in front of her.
